I'm putting this into 'General Health' rather than 'Heart/circulation' because it has far reaching implications beyond merely heart health, into 'Metabolic Disorders' and possibly 'Cancers' as well.

I appreciate that it is from 2012. The evidence has mounted since then.

Interesting read, there's a lot of conflicting info regarding cholesterol too. Hard to know who to believe

Diet is just one factor when it comes to heart disease. Psychological factors like STRESS also can play a major role.

Try reading one of the books that looks at the actual scientific studies. I would recommend The Diet Delusion by Gary Taubes. It was published in 2007 but pretty much covers all the research before then. Or The Great Cholesterol Con by Dr Malcolm Kendrick.

There are others, but these are two of the best for taking you through the actual science.

And that is not being denied. But a bad diet is a factor too. However, you prefer to believe as you believe. I'm sure you don't want me to get into another argument with you.

I am not disagreeing here...just giving the bigger picture in contributory factors.
