Hi all,
I was wondering everyones views on this, what it could be, etc ( I know I should go to the docs but I hate going & would rather fix it myself if I can!)
For years I have had pain come and go in my right shoulder & neck which seemed to get worse with stress, a bad nights sleep, carrying something heavy etc. it has now travelled down my arm, into my forearm and often fingers. Occasionally, when it gets really bad I lose any power in my right arm and physically can't lift my own arm up and above my head...not just because of the pain, but of it being extremely weak and having no power.
My right hip is constantly painful, I can't sleep on my right side, standing/walking for any length of time can become extremelly painful. This comes and goes to a certain extent but it never goes completely. (Hip repacements are common in my family but I'm only 33 and it has been getting gradually worse wince I was about 25.) My right knee also plays up from time to time and makes the loudest clicking noise when I go up stairs!
As I am typing this, the right side of my jaw is aching also. :/
Does anyone have any ideas as to what this is? Are they all related? Or am I just getting old, falling apart lol and it's just a big coincidence it's all only on my right hand side?
Thankyou for any thoughts or input.
Hi
All very well trying to help yourself and that is entirely possible and don't see why you can't do it. But please do yourself a favour and see a doctor to rule out any nasties lurking in the dark.
Ummm....Right hand side- Magnesium Phos
Is a twelve tissue remedy. It works on the right sided symptoms. I fact symptoms on the right side are typical sign of mag phos.
You can buy it off your local health store or online. But it in 6x potency. 4 pills in 1/4 of a hot water. Have it several times a day to begin with. Then as symptoms calm, take it 4 times a day.
You can also try Kali phos 6x for general relaxation of body and mind. Especially before sleep.
These medicines are naturally occurring salts within our body and imbalances of them create physicals no mental symptoms, there are no side effects to them however very rarely, for a few days symptoms may get slightly worse, but more often just get better without any fuss.
Hope it helps
Why not seek advice/treatment from an osteopath? I went to my chap with a left shoulder problem, and he traced it back to my right knee and ankle. Once he had address those trouble spots, the pain my shoulder disappeared - without him having to touch it!
Hi I know it's been 2 years since this post. But everything you have described is what I have too and it spread in the same manner over a few years.
It's a long shot but I wanted to ask you how you had gotten along since and what treatment you may have undergone to help?
I was the same and was not keen on visiting doctors but I've gotten to a stage where I needed to accept help. Recently I had found out it is due to a curvature in my spine causing the issues simultaneously. This is called Scoliosis. I'm going to an Osteopath now and I hope it'll finally help, but I can see this condition will be a journey for life.
I hope to hear from you.

how did it go?
how did it go?
I'm not too sure if you mean me. But if so then my first session consisted of back cracking which was more painful than intended but I can't tell much of a difference right now. There's still a lot more work to go.
