Just curious about this Eat Right for your Blood Type Diet? Does anyone follow it or know anything about it?
I went to a talk on it several months ago and basically your blood type determines which foods are best for your health and which to avoid! There's a book by Dr. Peter D'Adamo (1996) His book, Eat Right 4 Your Type has apparently sold millions of copies.
I found it interesting and during the talk a lady in the audience was skeptical and said it seems this type of diet is cutting out all junk/processed food and wheat/dairy etc from the diet and meat depending on which blood type you are! My view is if we cut those from the diet anyway we would feel great and have more energy etc by eating healthier?
So does anyone know anything about this Eat Right 4 Your Blood Type diet?

Have heard of it. But never taken this or any other exclusive diet seriously. My motto is same as yours. Don't have food cooked in factories. Cook your own, eat what you enjoy and from Ayurvedic and traditional Indian perspective Include many colours of food to your plate.

I can't find any evidence that this is anything more than an untested hypothesis of D'Adamo. Have there been any studies done?
I totally agree jnani, a varied healthy diet has always been my motto. Was just curious at the talk I went to with a friend.
Haven't seen or heard of any studies Crowan. I've just been curious and been thinking oh if I'm eating the wrong foods etc for my blood type will it really cause me any harm! Just my mind going into overdrive!

:DYou got it right, mind into overdrive....One can be perfectly healthy without so called experts and their amazing theories. Enjoy food. Listen to your body, head is usually full of borrowed stuff and non sense
