Hi guys,
I'm male and I'm 27.
I have recently returned to the UK after travelling abroad for the last 10 months.
I'd say 3 maybe 4 months ago I started feeling a bit off, a little bit light headed at certain times and needed to find a seat. I thought this was maybe just due to the heat in Asia. But now I've returned home and its came on a lot worse now:
I feel light headed pretty often, a little bit dizzy, when I stand still for any length of time I feel like I could faint at any second. I also have a discomfort under both armpits, sort of like my t shirts too tight. I've poked and prodded about but haven't felt any lumps or anything that shouldn't be there. I've had pain at the bottom of my rips, just under my nipples. It comes and goes, sometimes I feel the pain when I'm feeling about and when I'm leaning on my side.
I had a bit of a scare before I left the UK in January. I found a lump on one of my testicles, worried that it could be testicular cancer I went for a scan and it came back all clear. Is there any way that the scan could have been wrong?
I'm going to the doctors tomorrow morning so I'm hoping to find out what's wrong with me.
Scott
I'm sure the people doing the scans for things like that know what they're looking at, and the equipment is fairly good for it, so if they thought it was ok, I'm sure it was. You'd only need to be concerned if it became painful or changed in size etc.
I'm guessing you've been to the doctors this morning, so hopefully they've been able to help you with your symptoms to give you an idea what may be wrong.
What news from the doctor?

Thank you. And happy new year to you too!
Hi Scott, Any news from the doctor? As for your question regarding the falsification of the scan. Yes, there are always possible medical errors. Hence the statistical terminologies of true/false positives/negatives. The best thing to do in your situation is to run several tests. This could mean examining yourself at multiple centres. Or even consulting more than one doctor. Not only for the better judgement. But to have an authentic report of your medical condition. Lastly, I appreciate the way you take health-matters seriously. Keep looking after yourself. Wish you well-being...
