A Psychic called Crystal Steiner says she is suffering panic attacks after being surprised by a surprise birthday party.

Now she's suing the friends who arranged the party!

The party was on Monday I believe, Bannick, in Cassadaga, Florida.

Ms. Steiner is saying that the combined power of their auras prevented her from predicting the incident.

One friend who is being sued said "I'm surprised she was surprised. When I jumped out at her from behind the sofa she became hysterical and struck me several times around the head. I should be suing her."

No link to this story online I'm afraid, Holistic. 😉

It's from the horse's mouth, so to speak, which is why I can say with some certainty that the incident referred to here is very much temporally contrafactual. 🙂

It seems to be some kind of an amalgam, then, since Cassadaga is said to be inhabited largely by psychics, there WAS a similar story from early March but that involved a male psychic, and there are a number of people called Crystal Steiner to be found on the net.

And no, I didn't bother to save any of the links 😀

Cassadaga always sounded like an interesting place to visit. 🙂

I had heard the story of something similar happening to a male psychic, that was the grain of truth :). He wasn't suing anyone though, as far as I know, and he didn't have panic attacks (didn't he have a heart attack!?).

I thought Crystal Steiner may have been a relative of Rudolf Steiner's? 😉

Speaking of popular names; someone recently got in touch with me on Facebook convinced that I had taught them English in Brazil. I'm fairly sure that I didn't.

Happy April, 1st. 🙂

Did you look it up because you believed it, Holistic? I do hope so. 🙂

My OH always says, when my 'mags' turn up, "don't know why you bother with these as you know what's in them anyway"

Ah, you added some bits since I first read it earlier 😉

I didn't look for it because I either believed or disbelieved it, I did a few quick searches as I often do, with an open mind, to see if I could find anything on the net, as I've got that useful Vista gadget that gives a blue arrow and a menu with a link straight to google on words highlighted.

This is aside from the 'mod's hat' bit where quotes are sometimes made without accreditation, so links are requested both for this reason and to stop [hopefully!] threads turning into a lot of speculation. In this case, I didn't think a pile of links was too necessary 😉

I always was a curious child, but nowadays am probably considered just to be a public nuisance! 😀

Happy 1st April to you too 🙂
