hi there, i just registered for this site.

not sure where to start, but was hoping this is the right place to get some questions answered. I am 32 yrs old (DOB is 4/19/74), male, married with three kids in Virginia Beach, VA. not quite sure how to say this, but as a hobby I love playing cards. What I am wondering is, there has been NUMEROUS times that I have known that I would win, but for some reason didnt go "with my gut". Is it possible to know stuff like that in advance? I am not just talking about just cards either. there has been other times that i have just "known" something was about to happen, or that i needed to do something that didnt make sense, and if i would have gone the path that didnt make sense, things would have worked out better. So, is there a way to recognize the right path to take, even if it doesnt make sense? Also, is it "ethical" if I am able to do this.. to use it? Just because you can do something, doesnt mean that you should always do it you know?

My mother has stated before that she has sensed stuff like what I have described too, maybe it is in the genes? Any advice anyone would have would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

:)I'm new here, too. Virginia is lovely, so first let me say you are a lucky person from what I hear.
It sounds like you are intuitive, but need to learn to listen to your own inner voice. It's scary at first, but if you trust yourself, and don't "fight it" you may find yourself making the "right" choices more and more often.
I have gone "against" intuition before, usually wih a negative result. I find when I turst my instinct, things usually turn out for the best. Once I had this really hug hunch on an investment, and I retionalized it away, and talked myself out of it. It turned out I would've probably made enough money on that one investment that I could've chosen to do whatever I wanted for the next umpteen years. I could've traveled, paid for college, opened my own business...whatever..
So, after that, I REALLY learned to trust my intuition..and also my first instincts. Maybe take a few minutes of quiet time (I know this is hard with kids) each day to mediatate and relax and see what comes to you. Learn to clear your mind. If its hard, there are GREAT exercises you can do to help you learn to unwind. Get online or check out your local library and read as many books as you can get your hands on ESP, intuition, synchronicity, etc. Read spiritual books. I loved the Celestine Prophecy. Just read whatever you can find to expand your knowledge, Hopefully your wife is supportive and will understand you have some "you" work to do.
I think we are ALL born intuitive, some more than others, but you can learn to sharpen it, and if you were born with a true "gift", consider yourself lucky and learn as much as you can! It CAN be inheritied, most believe..to some degree..
Best of Luck!! Keep an open mind!
