Looks like we have a pretty powerful end of year full moon.
It is a blue moon and its appearance at the end of a year is unusual, and at the end of a decade, must be even more unusual.
I came across a link to an I AM exercise that I think some readers may enjoy doing some time today, to maximise the potency of this moon's gifts
I love the synchronicity, as I had already planned to do some magical work with mandalas and dreams and wishes for 2010

It's a fantastic blue moon here in Portsmouth.
This is a perfect time for a meditation to contemplate our year ahead and maybe make an an internal map of which way we want our future to go.
Maybe we could do a little soul searching....have you any tips ?
We and some neighbours stood outside to see the eclipse. Such a beautiful moon tonight. I did the "I AM" exercise and think it's great. Thanks for the link Tigress.

Wow - it was so amazingly beautiful!
I was on my way from one friends to anothers at 1130 last night, but I just had to take a detor to the local recreation ground to see her in her glory.
I ended up seeing the new year in swinging on the swings gazing up at her, churchbells ringing, stars sparkling - absolute peace and joy!

Not only was it a blue moon but it was very slightly partially eclipsed for a part of the evening, just catching the bottom right edge (as seen from the UK).
A very clear and wonderful news years eve it was too. 🙂
