Naturopathy for Posterior cortical atrophy

Hi there

My friend was recently diagnosed with Posterior cortical atrophy. She's a healthy woman otherwise, in her early 50s. I'm asking here on her behalf, and am intuitively drawn to naturopathy.

Would you be accepting the diagnosis? Conventional medicine offering no cure, treatment to slow the progress, or even likely causes.

Could you point me in any direction (e.g mineral tissue analysis)? Is there any knowledge floating around in your field of research/work on the subject of Posterior Cortical Atrophy/Alzheimer's Disease?
