Hi Everyone
My friends Mum has just been diagnosed with Sarcoidosis and I wondered if any of you had any experience of this condition and what complementary therapies could help.
Any suggestions/recommendations greatly appreciated!.

There is a thread about this some way back....not sure where though. My second husband was diagnosed with this disease at 28, which is 10 years ago now. His case was very severe and he had to have the top third of his right lung removed in a 12 hour operation. He took steriods for many years to keep the disease under control.
My next door neighbour also has it but in a mild form. I don't think she will ever get rid of it.....but I am sure in her case it is not serious. She doesn't need medication and just has a tickly type cough.
It is a cell-change disease (a form of cancer). I am not sure whether complementary medicines would help but I am sure anything that would boost the immune system would be good i.e. Pau D'Arco tea.
