Forum
Hi everyone i stumbled accross this forum would just like to share my experience..
Since early age i have always suffered from shaking hands. It was sort of a joke with my parents and my sisters. But i am now 17 and i feel its alot worse..
When i am in nervous situations it goes out of control. An example of this would be say a job interview i would be unable to pick up a pen and right my hands are shaking that much and i cannot control it. I ended up quittin my course at college because of it. The thought of going up in class and my hands shaking it put me off altogeather.. Its not just in nervous situations. Its aslo in general i really have to grip a pen hard to right. if i am nervous then my voice does tend to shake and i feel slightly weaker.
I have only found out about this condition when i was browsing the internet. Do you think i could have this problem and go see my doctor? It would mean alot if i could sort this problem out. I would gain alot more confidence and i would go back to college. I no there is no cure for the problem but there is drugs for coping with it.
Any thoughts would be very welcome. Thankyou Gary
This sounds like some sort of nervous condition.
Have you considered using EFT (or visiting an EFT practitioner) for this?
An example of a similar nervous condition being treated is on the EFT website...

Hi Gary
I once taught a woman with essential tremor. It made no difference whatever to her life, her self esteem, or her self confidence. If you suspect you have this condition, then do go to your doctor and tell him you'd like to be able to manage the condition better than you are doing now, and perhaps ask for a referral to a neurologist to get checked out.
And let us know how you get on!
Beta blockers can help
Hi gary, My 16 year old son has benign essential tremor. It is not affected by nervousness but by exciteent and tiredness-but he shakes pretty much all the time. He sees a specialist and has been taking a betablocker once a day now for about 9 months. It has really helped him as he gets so embarrassed as people notice him shaking. We did not realise until a few weeks ago that his great grand daddy had the same thing.
Hope this helps-MA
hi
am starting to have this problem and 2 doctors I went to see, as well as research over the net, told me these are symptoms of an unperfect diet.
Lacking magnesium, Vit B12 and potassium, for example would bring shaking and tiredness. as well as mental instability (confusion etc).
This must be treated very seriously as they are elements vital to the body survival. Not addressing the problem can lead to the body slowly breaking down...and depression and all that. sorry to bring bad news.
Some of us, like me, have some digestive problems (acid stomach, quick digestion..) meaning you can eat well and not absorb the nutritients. so if you have some instable digestive system, it may be the source of the shaking...and in the end, even though some incomplete diet could mean big problems in the future, if you do something about it now, you re almost certain to see the shaking go away!
a last thought, for the nervous system, rub some Marjoram and chamomille essential oils (2 drops of each) + oil (sesam, olive oil etc) (quantity: fill one hand palm) onto your chest every day. These oils act on the cerebral system that can be hard to reach, other than hard medication.
hoped this helped.
