hey guys i dint know where to post this but thought this might be the best place. my problem is my nose, it is constantly blocked i have a antihistamean nasal spray which i am only meant to use 2 times a day but i have to use it 3-4 times if i dont spray it then my nose completley blocks up and if i hold one nostral closed and try and breath through the other on i can sometimes they both are completly blocked, i cant sleep at night and i keep getting headaches and i think thats because i keep sniffing or something to do with my nose being blocked. i have been to the doctors and he sent me for a head scan and gave me about 3 nasal spray which were rubbish i have just been to spain and i had to by a spray there and it seems to help so i bought 2 to bring back with me my nose is still blocked if i dont spray it enough though. and i cant sleep at night im waking up all through the night im always so tired

heres a few details about me

im 22
i smoke (could this be the cause)
i have a dog (but my nose is no worse when around him)
i have a horse (but again my nose is not worse around him)
i dont eat healthy all the time
i dont exercise and much as i should but i am under weight for my age (9 stone thats 126 pounds) i do find it hard to put weight on even though i eat like a horse.

any ideas or advice would be great thanks this has been going on for about a year now.

Emotional links too

There is also another viewpoint to these problems..
Sinus conditions have many underlying possible causes - most often they are a collection of all of them.

From Dr Zayd's point of view (see the 'Wellness Tree' for more about his work) the first place to look is 'toxicity'- not just physical and environmental, in the form of allergies, etc., but emotional as well. Following the teachings of Ernest Homes, he would point to 'irritation with someone close' and go to deeper levels where there is a feeling of never being enough - he called post nasal drip and sinus problems 'Inner crying' and says that they occur when a person even unconsciously felt that they had never had the love they needed from someone they loved very deeply. These create a toxic state for the body until resolved, or there is enough self belief and worth to overcome it.

Just a thought! you may or may not feel this is true for you.

Hi
Go to your GP and ask if you might have a polyp up one of your nostrils. I had one years ago.

I had pretty much the same problem and I found out the reason was smoking. You will have to try not to smoke, even though it is not going to be easy, I found it very hard but this book helped me "Habit: Change your habits to fill your life with success" by Mike Bray. I think there are many bullshits , and this book definitely will not make you millionaire, but there is amazing guide to lose bad habits such as smoking, drinking coffe etc.
