Hello,
I'm hoping to pick your brains a bit.
My sons friend (aged 6, nearly 7) has got a rare muscle waisting condition, I think it's called CMT but I would need to confirm that again with his mum (she did tell me the full name today but I forgot) it is heredity, his Mum has it but only slight, he has got it at stage 2 and already has to have his legs in braces (it's so sad he hates haveing to do things like PE because of all the other kids) doctors can't say how fast it's likely to progress but his mum has just learned that it's now in his hands so it seems to be coming on very quick.
My question is can anyone tell me if/what alterantive therapy may help, I realise that there isn't a cure but perhaps there may be some treatment that could be used to perhaps slow the prosess down.
Thanks
Amy
