Chris,
try lavenderworld.com Lavenderworld, Terrington, York YO60 6BP
These are organic and some grow in York.
Sure they will know of more products.
Thanks Zandalee.

Terrington is about 17 miles north of York. They aren't organic - or, at least, they weren't when I lived near there. It certainly doesn't advertise being organic and I think they would if they could.

Look again..at least they can give an idea of other markets to view. When we visited they had some organic products. Just know they are in the oil industry. It is starting point to ask about other companies to obtain more information. Another company to view would be Gaia. American based. Not all is organic. Several compiles in France. Good luck.
Thanks Zandalee.
You are so welcome. At least take a look or email they can provide information on other markets. Good luck.
I guess we're lucky, my other half has a distillation kit and grows her own lavender on our allotment, so each year we get a good years worth (and more) supply of lavender oil (and some others like fennel, and mint - and we even managed some eucalyptus). The only thing we have to purchase is the oil dropper bottles, but they're fairly cheap in bulk. Obviously the distillation kit was a bit pricey, but it's fun to do and at least we know the plants are grown organically and you can't get any more local than growing your own.

So true..our mints, sages, lavenders are growing abundantly so far this year. I never thought about a distillation kit. We dry and place in oils for different remedies and cooking. Distillation kit is something to consider. Food for thought today...thank you.
