Today the BBC has reported on the global water crisis caused by the virutal export of water.
In the developed world, we are using up precious water supplies that developing countries need for their survival for example to produce 1 kilo of jeans, over 10000 litres of water is consumed or 1500 litres for a kilo of sugar.
While it's important that we should be working to reduce our carbon footprint, we should also we working to reduce our water footprint.
