Vegan restaurant - London?

I'm not sure there's an exclusively vegan restaurant, HR, but most veggie restaurants specify which dishes are vegan. You don't say where in London you'll be or how much you want to pay but if you're into cheap and cheerful (and possibly sharing a table cos it's very small) I can recommend Food for Thought in Covent Garden.

I haven't lived in London for a few years, but the Hare Krishna restaurant: Londoners, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that vegan? But I forget it's name, hence can't look it up on the net.

Vegetarian Thai or Chinese restaurants in London are usually all vegan.
There used to be a fantastic vegan Thai restaurant in Greek Street near Soho Square (very close to V's Govinda's which I like) but I think it's gone now.

Neal's Yard can be a nice, laid back place to sit out on a sunny day, and I think the weather's meant to be good on Sunday. It's not too far from Sunanda's Food For Thought, so maybe you could check out both places before deciding.

I quite like Green Note in Parkway Camden Town - the food is good it is vegetarian, but not sure about vegan. Here are a few other veggie restaurants -

Vito Organic in Wardour St. Its all vegan, organic, nothing is fried, gluten free, cakes are sugar free. Love their raw chocolate cake!

Mildreds is indeed lovely and brilliantly central. I don't live in London now but when I do visit I have to take in one of their 'burgers of the day'. But if you can persuade your Mum to take a train out to Kingston on Thames you can go to the Vegetaria, which has got to be the best choice of vegetarian or vegan food I've come across, anywhere in the world!
