hi,
Im new to this forum, I live in spain, and have a history of family myopathy and motor neurone disease. I was diaognised a fshd 2 yrs ago, with neuropathy on my right leg, it makesclimbing steps difficult, in allopathy they had no solution in spain so I tried homeopathy 1 month back.
Someone recomended cold laser therapy, and ihave gone to the magic laser cure clinic, in India, there web page is [link= http://www.magiclaser.com ]magiclaser.com[/link]they have promised a lot, I have gone through 13 sesions, but only see a slight improvment they say that you are not going to see any result till 40 sesions and the result is permanent after 60 to 80sesions I dont know what to do please if someone has expierence with cold laser therapy please advice or if there is something which is giving results,
thanks
RE: myopathy and neuropathy and cold laser therapy
Was there another term for the laser being used, such as Low Level Laser Therapy? Was the device hand held, or was it a large machine that you had to sit under?
I use a hand held LLLT device. The effects are cumulative, so you may notice changes weeks, or sometimes months later. It seems a bit excessive for the clinic in India to suggest you should have up to 80 sessions - maybe they are trying to get more money.
It is known that laser therapy is not beneficial to some patients. It would be wise to persevere with the homeopathic treatments, as these can take some time to establish changes in the body. You may notice subtle changes in your neuropathy if the laser therapy has been successful - as I said, it could happen after some weeks, or even months.
RE: myopathy and neuropathy and cold laser therapy
Hi jabba,
It was a handheld device, and they told me for chronic illness it takes 60 to 80 sesions.
I think it was LLLT DEVICE, I do see some difference and have not left my homeopathic treatment ,
Since you know about this can you please tell me if it is permanent they says the results are permanent.and there are no aftereffects on myopathy
thanks
