I have vit. B12 malabsorption due to cancer treatment, and have been taking 1000 mcg supplements once a fortnight for ab. 10 years. Which worked fine. However, half a year ago I changed suppliers and now I suspect I have problems (peripheral neuropathy). Is it the supplier or the quantity which has been amiss? Or what else?
Thanks!

Have you been assessed for the cause of PN rather than a supplement deficiency? 1000mcg? That is quite low isn't it?

I will go for an assessment once these flipping holidays are over.
But I thought 1000 mcg was high, and only given to people who lost their intrinsic factor and had to absorb it otherwise?
