Hi all,
I would like to buy a Tibetan Singing Bowl. There are lots of stockists on the internet, but I want to try before I buy Does anyone know of any stockists in West Sussex/Surrey please?
Many thanks
Sandie

Try putting 'tibetan singing bowls surrey' into Google UK. This seemed to give a better result than West Sussex, and there are several to choose from.

Hello Tranquilitygirl,
I hope you find one soon. Size does matter!! the larger the bowl the deper the pitch and the smaller the higher, some are hand made and some machined, I got a large hand made one from mind, body and soul last year from a company in Camdon (north London), it was expensive at £60. I also got a small machined one from Eninburgh that has a lovely hight pitch to it for £20, whichever way you go, try first before you buy.

Thank you to all the people who read my questions, and to Holistic and LioninLondon for their suggestions. I now have my bowl, and found a fabulous shop in Petersfield - I could rave about that for ages, but I'm not sure if we're allowed to advertise!!
If anyone would like details of the shop, please feel free to PM me.
I love my bowl, and was given quite a few to play before we chose each other
Love and light

If you can't find someone local I know of a place that has pictures and sound of each bowl in their online inventory silverskyimports.com
I think the singing bowl link is [link= http://www.silverskyimports.com/category/Singing_Bowls.html ]http://www.silverskyimports.com/category/Singing_Bowls.html[/link]

RE: Tibetan Singing Bowl
We have two singing bowls, both were chosen by 'playing' the note and holding the bowl, It appeared to be that the bowl chose us....the first bowl which is a small bowl prefered singing for my wife and would'nt work for me, my bowl is a larger deeper sound, but doesnt work correctly for my wife.
We have the smalller on the dresser near the front door and I have a habbit of tapping it with the paddle when I pass and it make an excellent sound, they are lovely to hear!
