RE: Metaphysical - Disease? Louise Hay or...
Hello Flower
I think the word to use for womb is "uterus". Try a Google search on "metaphysical prolapsed uterus" - I just did and there are quite a few options. Perhaps best you choose the most relevant to what you are researching?
Hope this helps.

RE: Metaphysical - Disease? Louise Hay or...
Well if using the word 'uterus' as suggested by Holistic then this is what Louise Hay has to say from Heal your Body:
Probable cause: Represents the home of creativity
New thought pattern: I am at home in my body

Hello Flower, I found the following on page 211 of Debbie Shapiro's book Your Body Speaks Your Mind, which might be helpful.
'a vaginal or uterine prolapse indicates a collapse or loss, a sense of having no control over what is happening, a feeling of hopelessness and helplessness. As a prolapse tends to occur more often either after childbirth or after the meopause, it can indicate feelings to do with losing control, as if our body is no longer ours, and in the process we fear we have lost our femininity. This is often combined with feeling either sexually unattractive or rejected, or no longer desiring any sexual involvement.'
It goes on to say
'the womb is the centre of creative life, the darkness from which light emerges, the female heart. Issues that can arise here are, therefore, deeply connected to our inner world, our darkness and most primordial feelings. These are particularly to do with being a woman and/or a mother. Feelings of doubt, guilt, failure, shame, fear, resentment, hurt, loneliness, being unnourished, being unable to nourish - all these and more are connected with the womb. A hysterectomy can feel like the ultimate rejection of womanhood, generating feelings of hopelessness that we are of no more use, that we have lost our creativity, or that we are no longer desireable. It is vital to reconnect with the essence of womanhood that is not dependant on whatever organs we may have, but is the light of wisdom shining deep within.'
If you want to get hold of this book, the ISBN is 0-7499-1595-1.

Glad to be of help Flower. It is certainly a very interesting book, which personally I find much easier to relate to than Louise Hay. You should be able to get it from amazon or any good book shop.

Yes, thanks for details of this book. It sounds like one to add to my books-to-buy list, which gets ever-longer.

I have a book to suggest too- 'Everything you wanted to know about your body, but so far, no one's been able to tell you' by Diane Baker and Chris Thomas. It details just about every illness and dis-ease imaginable and they are grouped by which chakra they relate to. I'm afraid I can't write down the meaning of your particular problem (looks like June did a pretty good job anyway) as I have lent it to someone else, but it is a book worth considering!

Hi Flower
I've just had a flick through the book (mentioned above).
There's a very interesting section in there that might help:D
If you would like to read it let me know, I'll type it out & P.M it to you (it's quite long) I will write a little & hopefully you'll know by reading it if it will help, hope that makes sense[&:]
THE ORANGE CHAKRA:
Also known as: Sensation Center, Spleen Chakra, Hara, Svadhistana.
Location: The center of the abdomen.
Parts of the body: The parts of the body associated with this chakra include the reproductive system, the sexual organs, the lumbar plexus, and the parts of the body and functions within the body controlled by the lumbar plexus, as well as those in the region of the abdomen.
The endocrine glands associated with this chakra are the gonads (the testes & the ovaries).
Sense: The physical sense associated with this chakra is the sense of taste, & the appetite. Therefore, the tongue as the organ of taste can be said to be associated with the Orange Chakra. This chakra is also associated with that aspect of the sense of touch having to do with sensations.
That is just a little, if you want the rest, let me know

RE: Metaphysical - Disease? Louise Hay or...
Hi Flower
following on from the thread.
Consciousness: The orange chakra is associated with the parts of the consciousness concerned with food & sex, as well as with having children. When there is tension in the parts of the body controlled by this chakra, it reflects tension in the consciousness, an attachment or an aversion, concerning food or sex, or having children, or all of these. It may also effect suppressed emotions about something that happened in the person’s life at the time the symptom appeared.
Element: The element associated with the orange chakra is water. The orange chakra, then, reflects the individual’s relationship with water. If there is a non-harmonious relationship with water (with swimming, or being on a boat for example), the individual’s relationship with water will reflect the relationship with the parts of consciousness that water represents, that is, food & sex.
When there is a symptom that results in the persons inability to have children, we say that it begins with a decision made to not have children. This is because everything begins in our own consciousness, & the body carries out the decisions of the consciousness. Since we believe that anything can be healed, it is possible to reverse old decisions by acknowledging them, & make new ones, at deep levels of being, & then watch the body carry out theses new decisions.
This chakra represents the communication between the body & the consciousness residing within. The body communicates what it wants, & what it needs. Its needs are communicated through the appetite, so that if the body needs potassium, for example, on the physical level, it will communicate through the appetite a taste for a banana, or for another food containing potassium, & for of much of this food as the body needs. The inner being within the body can respond to this communication as it wishes.
The body is the vehicle for the consciousness, as an automobile is for the driver in it. If the automobile communicates through its instruments that it needs gasoline, the intelligent response would be to give it what it needs, & not decide it should have something different.
In our society, we have learned to not trust our appetite, but rather to become more & more dependant on what experts tell us we should have. Different experts, however, have different ideas, & different activities generate different individual needs. A secretary has nutritional needs different from those of a coal miner, for example. A good relationship with the orange chakra includes good communication between the body & the consciousness, about what the body should have, & the honoring of that communication.
The orange chakra is associated with the pleasure principle. That is, we are attracted to what is pleasurable, within the areas of food & sex. The aspect of the communication between the body & the consciousness, however, must always be kept in mind. For example, we may want some things for pleasure that our bodies are not interested in. After having eaten a quart of chocolate ice cream, our attachment to sensation may be telling us that we can fit in a bit more, but at the same time, our body will be telling us that it has had enough. If it has more, that will result in discomfort, rather than pleasure.
We must listen to our body, & what feels good for it. If our appetite, when we listen to it, results to discomfort within the physical body, then it is no longer serving its primary purpose of providing fuel for the physical vehicle, & we must re-establish clearer communication through releasing attachments, until we again function clearly in this part of our consciousness, & in relationship with what our bodies are asking for.
We might also consider that the appetite always works as it should, & that discomfort in the body as the result of certain eating habits just shows the parts of our consciousness & energy system that are out of balance. For example, we can ask ourselves what chakra is located at the place of the discomfort, & see that as a part of our consciousnes

RE: Metaphysical - Disease? Louise Hay or...
What an interesting thread.......
I was recently told by this 'meditation guru' that I had a very strong hara and that there was a lot of energy and light coming from it. He said that he had noticed it straightaway and it had hit him from across the room. Do any of these books mention anything that would indicate why this was?
I've just put all those books on my Amazon wish list........although one is out of stock. I may look on Nutricentre and see if they have it.
Hope you are keeping well Jackie and don't forget about our get together
