Dear Julia,
I am doing a basic QT course in January (end).

In the meantime I have bought the set of 4 videos, with Richard Gordon teaching it. They are fantastic, and the book is included in the price!

The cost in Dec., was $160 + $15 p&p, thats about £80, and it came in about 20 days. I have already had fantastic results learning it from the tapes.

I should add that I am a Reiki M/T since 1994

Where did you get the tapes from? Can they be ordered from any well known book shop?
Can you actually learn completely, how to do QT with the tapes and book alone or would you also need to attend a class?

I wandered too if i would be able to contact a QT practitioner, who if i paid would give healing to my sister. If it was effective i would then look into learning it myself.

You order the videos, or dvd's (if your player is multi region) direct from QT via their website
.

The tapes are very comprehensive, and in my opinion, if you already practice Reiki, you can start to practice QT within an hour.

On the site you can also find all the QT practitioners and instructors in the UK

Have you done the tapes, David, and are they actual video tapes or can you get something to play on the computer? Sorry to be so thick!

Yes i was wondering that too. Do you need to have a (multi media) player because the tapes are manufactured in another country?

Also, can you actually learn QT completely and effectively without actually attending a class?

Can i ask you, if you have already tried it, what are your opinions on it? Is QT as wonderfull as it is being potrayed?

You can order european type video tapes PAL.

You can get dvd's, but to run on a dvd player it has to be mutli region, most are these days, even my £30 one fron ASDA.

I think they should play on any computer

I have practiced and done 3 treatments so far, my regular clients have certainly noticed a difference in the quality of the energy. I find it harder work, as you have to remember to breathe deeply and sense your energy through the whole of the treatment, not like I sometimes do wander off into my own world in the middle of a treatment

Hi - Im a QT practitioner ( and nearly qual teacher) in Scotland. in my humble opinion - it is possible yes to practise QT after watching the videos and reading the book - but like anything else - its GREAT to actually learn from other people and be able to practise on them too! I certainly got a lot from the classes I attended. And Iv learned more and more as Iv gone along. Like - mm , was it Dave - my energies are much stronger than before.
Its always good to meet up with, share and learn from each other - learning and working in isolation isnt too great Iv found.
QT although relatively new to Europe and UK has been around for about 20 odd years in USA and it certainly feels like the next step to me.
