Hi all,

Don't know if this is right place to write this? I am a reiki practitioner and would be interested in hearing more and perhaps learning Seichem.

Can anyone give me more information - I'd be interested to know how the energy feels different to them and do they feel it benefitted their treatments; and
can anyone recommend a trainer or master (not sure what they call themselves:))

Thanks,

Siany

RE: Seichem

Hi,

i was attuned to the patrick Zeigler seichim and I love it, a great modality and a lovely energy. i am aware there are quite a few other seichiems..but I do not know about them.

There are some symbols to use, you don't have to use them all and can go as you feel right for yourself.

I have and others have also said this is a great energy for helping those who want to boost self esteem and find greater self acceptance..just one aspect of seichim..but I think this is very true.

Seichim is like reiki, though it feels different. It is said that reiki is a white light and seichim a rainbow. i would say that it does compliment treatments and you know when you should use it..well it will kick in on it's own.

I have tried a few different modalities, or energy systems, my favourites(not a good word) are usui reiki which is use mostly, then kundalini healing, seichim and imara.

When I give healing I tend to work intuitively and allow the energy to guide me, so I might begin giving reiki and then feel like asking for kundalini..or I might feel the kundalini energy just start of it's own accord. Or I might decide right at the start that this or that would be most helpful.

This may sound funny, but it has often worked out this way..not so much by my own reasoning, but I have found that kundalini is amazing for pain relief, yes it heals on all levels, but for someone who is in severe pain I find this wonderful as it tends to give very fast and immediate pain relief.

The kundalini energy seems to like to help big time when i have treated people or animals with arthritas, injuries(ie straight afterwards), shock, broken bones, mentrual pain, also people who are extremely upset emotionally.

Kundalini gives very powerful and fast help and helps people to manage a situation when they are struggling and feel they cannot cope.

Imara to me feels cooler and refreshing, this is what i want when i have a headache...I am sure everyone experiences things differently and this is what i tend to feel. it may sound silly, and all healing works, but Imara for me is helpful for blocked noses, reducing swelling. it may be that this is just how I am focusing..but I find it so helpful.

Seichim I find an emotional energy, it has strong affect on how I feel, ie confidence, it makes me strong, but helps me be thoughtful.

I may contradict myself because i will also say that reiki does all of that, so do the other systems. but if i was to really think about these systems, I am just describing some things I have found in my own experience.

but I am certain these things have helped me and enhance my work and my life.

Another system i like is solar empowerment..and I am aware of my own dilemas at times..how may systems do you really need and why. But this is a really good one for children..just seems to find a level for them which puts them in controll and in a way that is right for them.

Solar tends to want to help with emotional issues, helping people deal with issues in their own way, very gentely and in their own time.

I hope you don't think i am a total crack pot now...this is just how I find things..it will be different for you I am sure.

if you would like to read the seichim manual i have it on computer and would be happy to let you have it, just PM me and I will let you know my email address so i can send it back to you. if you are fond of distance attunements i would happily send you seichim if you feel it would be right for you.

From experience i would recomend it,

Hal

RE: Seichem

I'm a very happy Tera-Mai Seichem Reiki Master. Students that have been attuned to Usui Reiki before they come for an attunement with me report that the energy is gentler and more powerful. I personally don't know, as I was first attuned into this system. I love the way we can be intuitive and not be bound by certain hand positions, and I like the fact that we have many symbols to choose from. And I really like our supportive network and the people.

BTW, There is a very interesting meeting due on 25th April in London between Patrick Zeigler, originator of SKHM, and Kathleen Milner, whose Seichem is a form of Reiki with an extra oomph and gentleness. This is on 25th April 2006. If you are interested, just PM me me and I'll send you details.

Patrick used to use symbols like Hal has and now works by a special meditation. I find this all fascinating.

RE: Seichem

I do Sekhem (as well as Reiki and Gaia Now), not Seichem and a quick search of these forums for Sekhem will give some previous posts on the subject.

I've talked with Hal about the differences between Sekhem and Seichem before and I think we came to the opinion that, apart from the originating person being different, there probably wasn't much difference in the "feel" of the actual energy. I was going to get a Seichem attiunement and see whether I could sense anything different, which reminds me I need to get around to that....

Love and Reiki Hugs

Hi Hal,

I'd be really interested to learn a little more about Seichim, would you be able to point me in the right direction please? I have been attuned to the Usui system for a while now and will be doing level 2 in April. Would I also be able to be attuned to Seichim and if so could you let me know if this system also works in levels?

Thanks

RE: Seichem

Hi lost Angel,

So sorry i took time to reply to you..i forgot to look on this thread!

Seichim, the system i do from patrick zeigler is done in two stages, seichim and seichim master...where you learn to attune and train others.

I personally prefer to teach this to reiki masters..especially the teaching aspect, mainly becasue when i teach usui reiki i include a lot of detail. the idea being that by the time the student has attained master degree they have some experience and understanding of healing and energy work.

they should be used to percieving energy and so then learning and recieiving seichim is easier for them to understand for themsleves. Also the teaching f it.

I guess in a way this is not necessary..but I think it might make life easier for students and reduce confusion and hopefully they will have more confidence.

if you are a reiki two and happy with your reiki and setled with reiki two i see no harm in your learning seichim. Though(purely my opinion) I think it would be better to wait until you have done usui master/teacher before you get into teaching seichim. just that usui master will give you a great platform of understanding to go forwards with.

But maybe better to go with your own feeling. it can be good to read a manual before deciding to take an attunement so then you know what it is all about.

if you would like my manual...do ask, if it helps i am glad to email it to you.
