Welcome to the forums.

You are very lucky to see colours like this.

You were seeing the energy of the topmost Chakras. Blue for the Throat Chakra and indigo/purple for the Third Eye or Brow Chakra and white for the Crown Chakra. All very nice high-vibrational colours and all very good healing colours.

I hope you told your Reiki healer what you were seeing. They would have been very pleased that you were having such a response.

Please do not expect such a response every time you receive Reiki because it may not be duplicated as you and the Reiki healer will be in different physical/mental/emotional states at each healing session.

Relax and enjoy and tell and ask your Reiki healer about it.

What a wonderful experience you had, and as Paul said I hope you told your Reiki healer. As a practitioner it's lovely to get feedback like that. Not everyone sees colours etc, as everyone's experience is individual to them. Glad you enjoyed the experience, who knows you may decide to become attuned,

Thanks everyone for those great responses. I certainly did tell my Reiki healer that I'd seen these colours. I must say, she did look quite pleased I've actually enquired about studying for Reiki 1 next year as some of you may have already seen in a previous post. This experience has definately given me the incentive to carry on with this idea. I mentioned this fact to my Reiki healer and she was really pleased for me. She explained how she had gotten into Reiki and said that it was the best thing she's ever done!

I think you might have found your Reiki teacher. You've had nice experiences in both the sessions you had with her so you are able to open up and relax with her. Big thing with Reiki is finding a teacher you are comfortable with and because of your experiences you know that she is channeling the energy very well.

Also want to agree with the others, if you go for another treatment don't have any expectations, what will happen will happen and if nothing happens it could just be that the energy is working on a different level and you don't feel it. So, no expectation, ok!!

well i toosee colours during reiki treatments-but it can be totally diff colours-i guess depending on my moods! the lovely thing is with me & my RM we tend to visulise the same colour! i dont know who sees it first if u get me-whether i sense it from her or whether she senses it from me! hummmm-must ask her about that! lol

My last session was mon & wow was it a powerful one! sent my head into a spin for a good day or two-lol-i got some beautiful pure white colours & also a pulling sensation on my crown chakra! very comforting though! I think i took alot of reiki that session-but i am preparing for my attunement in 2 wks-so i guess the intention to practice is already starting to work for me!

will prob post a topic on intent later on-not tonight coz its nearly 12 & i should be tucked up in bed-hummm!

anyway, just thought i would share! lol
