Hi bejay
The way I was taught to do distant healing was to just use the HSZSN and nothing else.
With CKR it can be either way it all depends on how you were taught and attuned.
Hope this helps you with your questions, sorry I can't be of more help

Hi Bejay - dont worry about which way round it is, it is the intention which matters. The same could also be said of you doing the Distance Healing, its the intention to heal which is paramount. Have confidence and just go with the flow.
Hi ever one , can any one enlighten me as to which is the correct way to draw the power symbol CKR as one way is reversed, looked it up loads of times but there seems to be a lot of contradiction,
Traditionally, it is the anti-clockwise way. The clockwise way was introduced by other forms of Reiki.

Not sure what you mean by 'time limit'. I always use the intent that the Reiki should continue to go to the recipient for as long as they need, even after I have carried out my part.
do i need to put a reversed CKR symbol in at the end or any thing to protect me,
Protection is a whole kettle of fish in itself. Some say you need protection, others say that you are already protected through using Reiki anyway. As already mentioned, a reversed CKR symbol is something that has been introduced through other forms of Reiki, so I personally don't use it as it has no real purpose to me, but if you are happy to do that and it has some intent for you then go ahead.

Do you have your reiki manuals from your Reiki courses? 😉
What's to be skeptical of? If you can give a Reiki treatment to someone by placing your hands near them then you are already giving Reiki at a distance. Reiki does not care whether you are treating hands on, hands a few inches away or hands a thousand miles away. Just for today, be free of worry.

HSZSN is used to provide the distant connection. You then carry out a Reiki treatement on the recipient just as you would as if they were in front of you. If that involves using other symbols then by all means do so. 😉
Why should a distant healing session be any different to a session 'in person'?

Thanks everyone , have got some information from level 2 , and Reiki-yorks has helped me. 🙂
Hi Bejay
You may wish to do a self-healing before you send this lady any Reiki.
As to which way to draw the CKR, I have a problem with directions and so I just draw it whichever way comes to mind!
One of my favourite distant Reiki methods involves sending the recipient an egg made of golden strands and filled with all the Reiki symbols. The finished result looks like a lovely chocolate Easter egg, sometimes with a golden ribbon! Use whatever method you find easiest.
