Does anyone know how I can find a Reiki share group in my local area? My Reiki master is in the middle of moving to Australia.[&o]

Have you asked your existing reiki master if they know of other reiki masters in the area?

I feel that I have come to a point where I need to meet other reiki practitioners/people and share in there wealth of experience to be able to go forward. (need to be around like minded people):eek:

I'm afraid I'm way outside your area but look, you're already around like minded people here on HP. That's gotta be a good start. 😀

I know that when I post questions on here there are always helpful people to come to my rescue. 😀

Suppose I just need reassurance - perhaps I will find a local Reiki practitioner and book a treatment. Could be a place to start 🙂

We have a Reiki Share once every two months in Copsale Nr. Horsham our next meeting is on the 16th Feb 6-9.30pm, drinks and snacks provided.

Be great to see you there if possible[sm=grouphug.gif]. If its too far for you, you can join the UK Reiki Federation and they keep you up to date with the Reiki Shares in your area and its a great way of meeting and keeping in touch with like minded people.[sm=nature-smiley-008.gif]

Hi Kate - (gosh I seem to be putting my nose in on this forum today!)

Have you thought about organising your own Reiki share? I have found that often there are people like yourself, solitary healers, maybe not working with regular clients... needing a boost and company. I did some monthly shares a year or so back; hired a cheap hall for a day, put out some ads/flyers, spread the news... we had some excellent times and everyone benefited. All you need is a hall or someone's large sitting room... food (or provide refreshments and have them bring lunch), a few tables, music and there you go! We experiemented with chanting symbols, playing a few healing games... it can be fun!

I bet there are more people in your area wishing they had a share to go to. Why not ask your master if she can provide introductions? Think about it, Reiki it and let the energy provide the answers!

My goodness I am not that brave yet to do anything like that with the Reiki.[sm=hidesbehindsofa.gif] lol

Perhaps if after I have found/attended another share group - in time I might.
