When I did my Reiki Master's/III recently my Reiki Master sold me some quartz crystals and said they would enhance my healing. Still retaining my sceptic traits, I didn't expect anything, but the energies are enhanced and slightly different so I now use them (rather awkwardly I hold them as I'm healing. I tried putting them around the body - I pick up more energy holding them).
Anyway today, my client said she thought she might have a bit of vertigo, so I held them pointing into her ear. It felt like my body was vibrating, and my spine was rippling. It was a particularly intense experience for her - she said she saw what looked like fine tree roots- changing colour. I wonder if it was nerve endings? She had no vertigo symptoms when she got up, but she won't really know if it's worked until her yoga class, when she always has symptoms.
During my master's inititation I had visions of crystals: a crystal temple, and meteorites. It happened again with another meditational experience.
I know very little about this. Has anyone had similar experiences, or knowledge to share?

Incrdible experiences Sharon - clearly crystals have some major meaning in your life and healing. My hubby gets the spine ripping feeling when giving reiki and his energies zap you - reall quick and then nothing much ! Ive never had any of that personally - much more even like glowing and warmth.

Hi,
I've worn crystals in my bra for years. They help immensely with all kinds of healing, but especially in helping me be a positive person and mroe open to the healing energies. They act as a boost to whatever I do or think.
Crystals are very simply transmitters. If they are charged, cleansed and protected, they will only empower the positive. Keep having fun with them!

I, too, know a crystal healer who wears two crystals in her bra every day. Needless to say they are small polished crystals and she selects them each day from her large collection.
Being a chap, I do not (surprisingly ;)) wear a bra to carry crystals in but I do carry a pouch in my pocket with crystals in. 🙂

I wear small crystals in a little crochet pouch on a leather thong round my neck - that way I can wear three if I want to :D:D:D That's as well as the silver chains with ... more crystals!

That's interesting Laura, because some years ago I was given a vision during an attunement (not Reiki) of healing with pyramids of smokey quartz and I felt at the time it was linked to Atlantis or Lemuria. Always puzzled me what it was about and your comment reminded me...

Hi Sharon, crystals and Reiki- Great! Dr. Usui used quartz in some activities.
Reiki amplifies the natural energy of the crystal (any, not just quartz) thereby increasing the transfer of the Life Force Energy you channel.
As you are obviously a 'natural' to crystals, it would be worth your while to obtain books on Crystals and Crystal healing, you will then benefit your clients by using the stones that are best for their needs.
Given time, you will be guided as to what to use where and when.

Oh Iv'e just had a great idea for a money making scheme, don't have cosmetic surgery implants, sell special "energised" Reiki crystals and girls stick them in your bra, and guys stick some in your trouser pockets

This is what happened in my attunement. It seems to make a little story now, although it didn't make sense at the time. I'm not sure it makes anything like sense now in conventional terms. I went on a journey, up a mountain, along a river. I seemed to go back in time: (I saw a battle in medaeval costume- my Reiki master said a guide appeared at her side - similarly dressed, a bit disshevelled! ). The mountain was crystal at the top (pink/lilac) and there was a temple, very beautiful. In my left field of vision appeared a bright star, which I thought was a meteorite, and it flew around to my right field of vision - in fact I turned my head to watch it until it wouldn't turn any more. Then in my left field appeared a glowing orb, the sun, perhaps. It had an aura. I then saw little black tadpoley things squiggling around it, and realised I was watching an egg being fertilised - I think it was my own conception! Then I think it went into wonderful colours, starbursts, etc and I didn't want to come away - but my attunement had finished and my Reiki Master's stomach was rumbling for her lunch, so I came to, rather prosaically!
Thanks Colin,for your encouragement about the crystals. My very first "spiritual healing " experience was with crystals. It was at a local function, and I just went along to keep a friend company. My head turned from centre to left, and the pain in my left hip was alleviated, and I felt a breeze blow across me. I was advised at the time that I had an affinity to them, and that I was a healer, but I was so much in a different place, I never followed it up. I will now.
Incidentally the head turning thing - I get that quite a lot, as a "directional instruction". For instance while treating my friend Sandy, who had liver cancer, my head would always turn to her liver, whatever my inclination might have been to chakra balancing, starting at the crown etc. It was as if my guides were saying, "don't bother", just get down to the nitty gritty. I've often had that subsequently with others.

Atlantis ... for confirmation of what seems to resonate for many people, and to give my memory a bit of a jog, I put "Reiki crystals Atlantis" into Google, and several sites all gave the same sequence:
That power was misused in Atlantis, largely with crystals, that those who escaped the sinking went to Egypt or South America or Tibet. Also that in Atlantis everyone had Reiki, plus the other healing elements that make up Seichem, and that was abused too. Only now are we gradually being allowed to get these back, a bit at a time.
None of this can be "proven" of course, we can't write QED underneath it, and yet it does somehow feel as if there might be a deep "truth" in all this. Past life experiences, cellular memory? Whatever, can be a bit goose-bumpy LOL
(Aside to Otter: A bit like the Gatekeeper thread???)
Re your attunement, Sharon, thank you for sharing that experience, and the head turning ... no, I don't get that, but I do get guidance from somewhere as to where my hands should be, and I do sometimes get "pictures" in my head from people.

I am sure they will increase your manly poewr by putting them in your pocket if that is what you are needing!!
Seriously, they do affect us and I think that they can help with that sort of thing, just in that they make us well and help release blockages and a well man and woman are well in every department! But I would suggest putting some citrine, rose quartz etc in your pocket!

I'm a big fan of crystals also. A good friend of mine recently had minor "women's problems" (I won't go into any more detail then that) Anyway she did not want reiki at that perticular time, so I cleansed and reiki charged a small orange crystal and told her to keep it in her pocket (so it would be close to the sacral chakra)
her problem sorted itself out within 24 hours

I was a huge sceptic of crystal healing etc, when I first started training in Reiki. This, even though I wore moonstone.
As a Reiki M/T I now give a little pouch of 7 crystals to my students following the instructions for hand positions and invite them to use them to augment their healing. The crystals are my gift to them.
I am open to most things but must say a recent article relating to leprechauns and rainbows is really stretching my credibility...[sm=cool-smiley-027.gif]

I must admit wearing crystals had no effect but Reiki has increased my bust size by improving my posture and habits. I now as a result have a stronger back and wider shoulders, and a much larger bra than before the Reiki 1 attunement. .
