Well!
did my second degree during the week. I was the only one there having an attument so to say I had alot of attention and practice is an understatement. The energy does feel different - heavier, if that makes sence. Also when I am doing Reiki, I seem to go deeper in a meditive state....very quickly as well. I did it on my hubbie last night. I had him sitting on a chair as I don't have a theropy table as yet and it kills me tring to do him on the couch. Well, he fell asleep sitting up! He has come near to sleeping when doing it on the couch before but actually falling asleep is a first. He began to dose very soon after I started. He also said that to him the energy feels different to receive. He loved it!!!

Also practicing sending reiki. I sent it to my mum yesterday. She knew I was going to be sending it some time but didn't know when. When I had finished, and finished my own self treatment, I rang her to see if she felt anything. Well, she was in a state of shock as the time I sent it, she felt this "surge" though her back and the ability to confront a situation that needed to be addressed for a while. she felt great for it and was in total aw of Reiki. I sent it to my dad last night as well while he was sleeping. Hopefully he will feel the benifits of it with time.

As for my detox, I think it is already happening. It is more of an emotional detox and is coming out in the form of dreams, disturbing and sad dreams but it's better out than in.

I do feel remarkably different after this attunment than the first. I don't know why but I think it has a lot to do with the energy feeling different. The energy feels so powerful, the only way I can personally discribe the difference is that, the energy from Reiki one is like chocolate mouse but the energy from Reiki 2 is like chocolate fudge. Both are chocolate but the latter is so much more heavier and satisfing!
