I did my Reiki two in March this year and found it a wounderful experience, it has helped my spiritual growth and personal development.

Hi everyone:)

Just came back from my first session - i have the second next sunday. It was quite intense with the symbols and i seem to have some tiny blisters on the palms of my hands. Very interesting though and i agree, not as emotional as Reiki 1. My master said she saw a flash of blue come out of my hands but wasn't sure what it meant so if anyone has any suggestions, i would be very interested to find out:)Really enjoyed it and hoping it will lead me to give up smoking among other things! Thank you all for your lovely words and encouragement:)

First of all congratulations, I am sure you are really excited!

I am not an expert but blue is usually a healing colour so it might be that there is something you have to heal and the reiki is doing its job?

I also saw a very vivid blue during my reiki II attunement Hannah and was told it's an earth healing colour.

Thank you both for your replies. I probably do need to do some more self healing, especially on the emotional side of things so perhaps i was subconsciously doing it!Can't wait for next week. I'm thinking of getting insured after and offering a voluntary service to hospices and hospitals etc to gain some more experience and obviously to help others in need.

That is a lovely thought, best of luck with it. Again, I think blue is a healing colour, I always visualise blue for calming healing energy! It could just be the healing energyflowing out of your hands!

Thank you Stardust. I forgot that when i went to see a medium a while ago, she said that she could see a lot of blue around me too. I find it all very fascinating and feel like i have only touched the tip of the ice berg!

Hello again:)

I completed my Reiki 2 today - what a lovely experience! My master said she saw a white light around me during my attunement and it did feel very strong - my hands and legs were shaking throughout it. I've had a really bad cold for a few days and it seems to have virtually disappeared now! Felt very low last week but i think i'm feeling better now. I can't wait to start practicing.

Hello Hannah

Reiki 2 is certainly an experience isnt it!.Seems like you have enjoyed it and had a wonderful experience.
I just wanted to add with the blue that although it is seen as one of the healing colours, mainly for the throat chakra.
Upon being attuned, you maybe aware that your crown and third eye are being worked upon in the process, if you have your eyes closed during the attunement and open near the end or completion of the attunement,then you may see the effects of the third eye from the attunment.this can be seen as a deep purple moving up towards a bluish/light purple, depending on the person.
As your master is also in a deep preparation in the attunement process with you they too will see and feel in a blissful state, I always enjoy the attunements, wish that moment could last forever dont you !!
Of course the thrid eye and the throat chakra are close to each other anyway.
Sometimes there maybe a faint veil of this colour ,once looking at the palms of your hands your vision maybe a mix with the third eye vision.until focus becomes clear again.

Blue can be also associated with communication and speech,peace ,truth,knowledge,loyalty,widsom, gentleness and kindness.
This of course is my experience, and what you get on the day out of the attunements was for you..

Thank you everyone (and mum:)) for all your encouragement. It's so lovely to be able to share our achievements and experiences with other like minded people. It has given me a lot more confidence to chase my dream of become a holistic therapist.

Yes we really are mum and daughter! Hannah is following the Reiki path at the moment, I am just enjoying all the treatments:):)! Funnily enough I did mention to her recently that I am considering doing Reiki 1 though....
