Quantum Touch Energy Healing Techniques

I decided to start a thread on this excellent healing modality, Quantum Touch, developed by Richard Gordon and based on his studies with healer Robert Rassmusen.

I had been introduced to Richard's first book on Polarity Therapy Your Healing Hands: The Polarity Experience in 1991 about a year before my first Reiki attunement. At the time, unbeknownst to me, by this time he was already developing what he would later name Quantum Touch.

Icontinued my sporadic studies in Reiki, Therapeutic Touch, Jyorei and Polarity Therapy over the next few years, developing some methods of my own along the way. It wasn't until late 2002 (I'd been aUsui/Seichim Reiki Master for five years by then)that I discovered Mr Gordon had published the Quantum Touch Book in 2001.

Reading through the book and working with the techniques, I couldsense an immediate increase in the energy coming through my hands, and thebasic technique was very similar to how I had intuitively learned to practice healing before Ibegan studying various modalities. However, this was a much more complete method, with very clear guidance on how to increase andmodify the energy coming through, and how to prevent depletion of one's personal energy. I wasso impressed with it that I bought the interactive video workshop.

I hosted two of these video workshops with great results.(unfortunately my schedule over the last year has forced me to take a break fromthis)Everyone, regardless of their background, was able to do the method successfully (although some couldn't sense the energy, but I've seen this often in Reiki training too).

It was extremely pleasing to me to see how quickly complete novices could learn the method. And the beauty of it was that thecost of learning the techniques from the book was only $12.95! Attending the 2-day interactive video workshop cost participants only $65, and they could each get a certificate of training toward certification from Quantum Touch! Not only that, each participant, if they bought the interactive video ($120.00 US for 8 hours of video instruction with pauses for live practice sessions and lunch[this makes about two 7 hour days]; also available in PAL format), video workshop participants could put the entire cost of the workshop toward the video purchase (so the video was only $55.00 extra). On top of this, when you as the workshop facilitator turns in the payment from the groups, QT pays you $40 per person who paid their $65 for a certificate! It is a total win-win for all concerned!

QT does this because they want to get the word out, and get us all out there healing eachother. The techniques are so simple, a child can quickly easily learn them (sometimes easier than us adults!). But what impresses me the most about QT are the splendid healing results.

Given that my first Reiki attunement was from on of the 22 masters Hawayo Takata attuned (the Reiki Alliance), and it was years before I decided to work with my intuition and discernment to go outside establishment for my master degree (no way could I afford $10,000!), the other aspect that really impressed me was the low cost. This system is very accessible to anyone who wants to learn to effectively assist healing with lifeforce energy, regardless of your budget. Reiki has gone this way in since the 90's, and especially with the internet, but the quality and standards of what is out there is very mixed and unreliable.

1. No symbols,no mantras, no secrecy: whatyou see is what you get (although using symbols and mantras of your choice will definitly enhance the energy)
