you need to do self healing and hatsurei if you have been taught that,

do healing on someone else , ie a family member or friend and see what they receive through you.

hatsurei is a way of clearing and keeping your channles clear fro reiki, it is done in a meditation style and is beautiful to work with

HI Kevmos,

Congrats on your attunements, but I am sorry to hear that you feel a wee bit discouraged by not "feeling" anything. This has happened a couple of times with students of mine, and I understand it can be very difficult especially if you have expectations or hear other people talking about thier own very different reactions.

Reiki works in different ways for different people. My suggestion is to get lots of practice on yourself and on family and friends so you can get feedback from them. try to relax you mind and drop any expectaitons of how it should feel, paying attention to what it si you you feel. One of my students ( now a Master) feels very little, but those receiveing from her feel the energy strongly. Also she gets words spelled out if front of her closed eyes, often relating to what is going on with the person. Sometimes when I am workinig with someone I feel very little, but the person gives amazing feedback.

The more you get yourself into a "this isn't working, I can't do it" mind set the more difficult it will be for you to relax and tune into what Reiki is about for you as an individual. Play with it, imagine it working, let go of your hopes and expectations about how it might be.......

Make time for yourself, don't give up hope and discuss your concerns with your teacher.

Please do not worry (I am echoing Paul here...). Not everybody feels something. But the Reiki flows anyway. I usually feel fairly little. And if I "try hard to feel" it gets even worse. The very first attunement I gave neither myself nor the student felt anything. But it worked just as well.

As has been sugested, practice on people and ask for feedback. Alos do as much self-healing as you can.

Hi, just to echo other replies - keep on self-healing and practise on anyone who will let you. You could also give Reiki to plants, and animals if you have any. The Reiki WILL be flowing even though you are not aware of it. I personally do not always feel anything happening when I'm giving a treatment but the recipient ALWAYS does!

Try not to worry and trust Reiki, believe in Reiki and yourself, it does always work, even when we are not aware of it.

Don't give up - it could be several months before you feel anything at all but those you practise on are likely to feel the effects very soon.

Please don't worry and work hard each day at your self treatments and those you give to others.

Don't worry about not feeling anything after your attunement, the same happened to me, I had so much self doubt because I did not feel the attunement had worked.
During the last week of my self healing I began to get "strange sensations" and eventually I realised that it had worked!

Hang on in there, it will 'show itself' when you are ready for it.

When attuning people it is not uncommon for this to happen ask the people who you are working on to tell you how it feels as they are the ones who need it. Enjoy and welcome to the community of light workers.

Hi all,
I hve received my reiki stones and blessed them and I need to ask a dumb question..pleaase don't think i'm stupid on this but
I am in a wheelchair and i was trying to lay down and place them in the right places and i am not sure if I am supposed to place them on my body at the same time or just one at a time.
funny I place the root chakra (hermatite) on the base of my spine and my back started to hurt??
Please help me to understand what my problem may be

Reiki stones? I don;t kwno about them, so mayb eht ebest perosn to ask is the person who gave them to you?
I would gues sthat if th efloor is too difficult to reach, then a table woudl do just as well?

I would asume that you are talking about crystals not Reiki stones as such. Are you trying to do a Chakra layout? if so then it does not matter that you cannot get on the ground if you put the crystals in the pockets etc near were they should be then that would ok.

Thank you for your reply they are in a bag and they are 7 smoth stones in a pouch..
here are the names of them
Hematite...carnelian...citrine...rose quartz...turquoise...lapis lazuli...clear quartz

Like I said they were given to me by a reiki teacher but he lives in another state and I can't allways get in touch with him.

I have sleept with them and felt a lot better the next morning but still have that break through pain. If the names of the stone mean anything to you let me know. As I said Im new to all this.

Greetings from Scotland.

Some people use crystals/stones in conjunction with the Chakras. There are seven of these described runing up the spine (front and back) from the base of the spine to the crown of the head. Each Chakra is visualised as a different colour, shifting from Red at the Base to Violet at the Crown. Each chakra has a different energetic quality to it and they can be linked to a crystal said to be in sympathy with the energetic quality of the particular chakra. While not essentially a part of Reiki, they can be useful if you are drawn to them.

I'm sure someone more knowlegdable than me can suggest a website or some such to explain better.

I am sure that you would get a lot more information there.

As has been said, Crystals are not part of Reiki but can be used with Reiki (or is it that Reiki can be used with them?).
