I was only attuned to Usui Level 1 a few weeks ago and since then have been doing daily self-healing. As well as that I have been practising giving Reiki to my baby, cat, mam and auntie. I haven't "felt" or "sensed" anything during this.

Today I went to my friend's mam's house as I had promised to give Reiki to them both as a means to advance myself by hopefully raising my vibrational energies. Well today, whilst giving my friend's mam Reiki I picked up my first symptom. I was getting an aching pain in my jaw on the left side. When I mentioned this to her she said she'd been having trouble with a tooth on the left hand side and that it'd been causing pain in her jaw and up to her ear! I was ecstatic to find out that I'd actually picked up something.

Just thought I'd share my experience with you. x

Well done

Chris what do you mean?

I would normally work on that area until I feel it is appropriate to move on - should there be more?

Well you don't want to be walking round with it for days now do you?

Well done, you've picked up the problem - but did you do any Reiki on it?

Well I asked for Reiki to flow to the area and then asked for the negativity to be taken away to the light for transformation, if thats what you mean. (?)

Well done Donna it's always encouraging when you get feedback that you have correctly picked up a physical ailment. Keep up the good work.

I have 2 guinea pigs to practise on (not the furry kind) tonight. It's their first time so hope they relax and don't expect too much :D. My 4th guinea pigs to date.

Got my Reiki CD (New World) at the ready and really looking forward to this.

I massaged someone a few days ago who had a pain in his neck, he was struggling to turn his neck to the left, to look over his left shoulder for example.

1.5 days later, guess what I have been unable to do suddenly...? 😀

I am Reiki I attuned and assume Reiki also automatically flows a bit when i massage.

However in this case i don't think I picked up the neck pain through the Reiki, especially as he had told me about his neck pain at the start of the session.

I think it's more that I was trying to imagine what the client was feeling, to be able to help him best. It stayed on my mind for a day or so, as I was still trying to work out in my head which muscle was causing the problem exactly.

Until I woke up with that pain myself, so now i know which one it probably was 🙂

Now I just need to get rid of it again somehow!

Well, getting rid of this this way works for me:

First, acknowledge its existence.
Then, thank it for the lessons it brings.
Then, ask the Reiki to take it away from you. SHK should help with that.

If you find you're picking up something during a session, think to yourself "this has nothing to do with me" and it will leave you.

Try not to "think" yourself into their problem. That's the fastest way to healer burnout I know! Trust that the Reiki knows more than you do and will work for the highest good of your client.
