Hi guys
Happy new year, its been a while since I visited this site, Ive been very busy on my spiritual path, and loving every minute of my journey as an RM.
How is it that some RM's can detect some.....ailments with people just by the changes in energy's, and I don't mean just heat....is this some kind of intuition that has to be worked on? I try very hard to be available to my guides, not sure if I have any, and wait for some kind of sign, that would help me understand, better. I know that as RM's we are not suppose to diagnose, prescribe or treat, but how does one see deeper than just a lot of heat......
A new found friend I was working with had a lot of heat in her crown, in fact it was so hot, that I had the need to blow my hands periodically to cool them, as they go so sweaty, but further than the intense heat, I couldn't fathom anything else. She told me after the session when I mentioned the extremely hot head that she was once in a very bad car accident and had a severe head injury.
I'd appreciate any comments on this...

You a probably trying to hard and that blocks it, if you take you hands of the body an extend your awareness through your hands into the person and relax then you should start to get an impression of what is going on and what is wrong.
What you pick up can be felt in a few different ways, a general sense of unease in an area, or you might feel their pain or discomfort in your own body and as you address it you feel the pain ease, you can just get a knowing or guidance from the energies assisting you but you have to be in a relaxed state for it to happen.

I'm also a Reiki Master. I find that I pick up a great deal about the people that I work with or am simply with. However this was not a gift that came from Reiki. I was able to do this when I was healing before Reiki. Having this gift is wonderful bonus. It is however my gift. You may have the same gift, which will develop with practice, time and trust and a little arrogance needed too!!! (Helps with the bravery!) However you may have another gift....something equally wonderful and valuable. Something that I may never have.
Reiki won't bring you all these gifts....they come because we are ready to receive them and that could be anytime.....sooner or later. Don't worry about what you can't do and rejoice in what you can!

Reiji Ho is generally taught to help develop this sort of thing, it is something that can actually be learned but I do agree it is a lot easier if you do it naturally
