I had two Reiki Masters, one with First Degree and I found her on the internet so booked without even thinking of meeting her first - but did not feel much of a connection after being attuned - even though she is a lovely person.

My 2nd Master I met at her daughters holsitic shop. She's in her 70's and we really clicked, also at the time I was struggling financially and her courses were far cheaper than local reiki masters. She also taught in a couple of hours which was convenient for me having a toddler. Apart from being a Reiki Master, she also does Tarot, Seichem, Clairvoyance, Crystal ball and past life reading with over 30 years experience. I have learned a lot from her and plan do do a tarot workshop soon and also my Seichem master.

I found my first and only Reiki teacher a couple of months ago.

I had been interested in Reiki for a while actually (but didn't do anything about it - typical me really).

Was aware of a friends mum that practiced and had some good chats with her about it but in the end I was wandering through a town and came accross a market stall selling crystals. A few minutes of watching him chat others and a brief conversation with him I mentioned (don't really know why as he wasn't talking about it) that I was interested in learning reiki and he piped up with..."well, I am a reiki teacher...".

I had a look on his website (which is not the best in the world...full of typo's and odd grammar etc) but yet strangely that dispelled some of fears that he may be a charlatan (I was concerned that reiki might turn out to be some sort of cultlike thing and I may get sucked in!)...I remember thinking a charlatan would have an absolutely pristine website.

This guy's site just felt, natural, and halfway through reading it I decided I had to give him a call.

Rest is history (albeit VERY recent history) so to speak.
