At the Uttoxeter MBS fare. It was lovely and the lady doing it was sooo nice to. I cant belive that there was only her and someone doing crystal healing. People were queing up to see them. It was £7 for a 15 minute taster session. My friends went on to about 20/25 mins but mine was only 10 minutes as she said that "they" had stopped and Id had enough. She said that she felt like she was pouring into me and I was sucking it in......Also said that I was being prepared for my attunement on Friday:)
It was nice and I feel good for it. A bit confused about what she told me about my heart chakra being wide open though, as I dont know or understand enough yet [&:]

Glad you had a nice treatment. I would have like to have gone to the Uttoxeter show myself, but was busy doing other things this weekend. 
I know what you mean about it being a small place though. There was a show a few weeks back near Wolverhampton and that had far more treatments on offer and not so many stalls selling things. Each show tends to vary.
As for your heart chakra, don't let this worry you. It won't affect your attunement to reiki and your reiki master may talk to you about chakras on your course.

Hi i went to a mind body spirit event in Wilmslow yesterday. I also had a mini Reiki session and it was great. I like to have a wander round these events before i decide who to go to. Not all are good sadly.
At one point during the Reiki i opened my eyes because i thought another therapist had put her hands on my tummy. I told the therapist at the end and she was really pleased i had such a positive experience.
I do Reiki myself and it was good to get a treatment just for me to remind me just how great it feels.

You know what? I never actually had a single treatment before I started training! Never mind, that's just the way it was I suppose, and thta way I didn't have any preconceptions which is always a good thing.
Glad you enjoyed yourself so much:D The feeling of a client 'sucking up' the energy is a familiar one to me, sometimes you feel like you're gonna be standing there forever! Fortunately it never works out that way.
I personally would take it as a good sign that your heart chakra is open, as this will help you to 'connect' to (whoever you're working on) when channelling the reiki energy, because as you probably already know, one of it's associations is unconditional love- love for the self and others.

I'm glad to hear that your mini session went well and you had a lovely experience. I've just offered to do mini-sessions at a local pta school fair, but although I've been assured that they do work, even if it's only for 10 minutes, I wasn't entirely convinced - I mean there is a huge difference between 10 minutes and one hour. However, I feel reassured by your comments.
