Hi all
I've been attuned to Reiki II for the last year & whilst I use it every day for myself & family & have been giving reiki treatments for about the last 6 months with lots of good feed back & lovely experiences I have never had any real confirmation that distant reiki was working for me.

I've recently been considering doing Reiki III because the energies just seem to be getting stronger & stronger & quite a few people have been asking me if I could attune them to Reiki.

Last night I was talking on msn messenger to a guy I've never met before who is currently a soldier serving in Iraq & he was really interested in reiki hadnt heard of it before but was intrigued by it, anyway I said send me a picture & I send you some then you can tell me what if anything you feel, I did it & within seconds he said he had a whooshing feeling in his head & his whole body started to tingle, Fanatastic or what I finally had confirmation that it works for me & he loved it, I've been sending reiki to the world as I'm sure we all do so for anyone who has had a little doubt I hope this little story helps to dispel that doubt.

On to Reiki III for me I think spread this wonderful gift around & bring more joy into the world,

Hi,
That's brilliant that you have now received confirmation that distant healing really does work. It's always reassuring.

Quick note on the subject of attuning. Do remind those asking for attunements, that they will have to wait until your settling process is finished, which will be a good 8-10 months after your attunement.

I really hope you have a good journey. It's a challenging journey, but such fun.

Love and light,
Christina

May I just ask where this comes from? Is it from the teachings of Dr Usui, or somewhere further down the line? You see, I do have some reservations about making stipulations as to what other people "should" be doing, in this kind of context anyway, like how long people "have to wait", and how long a given process will take. (Not at all the same thing as "you should receive a signed certificate" or "you should get on-going support", for example.)

The whole Reiki experience is different for everyone, so my preference would be to offer suggestions and recommendations, and trust that each individual will be guided by their own intuition to follow their own path. Not suggesting for one moment that a RMT should just leave their students to get on with it, but is not Reiki about self empowerment? All just IMHO, of course.

Again, just my opinion, but if you are being asked to attune other people to Reiki, my interpretation is that this opportunity is being presented to you at the right time.

Within a matter of only a few weeks after my own attunement to RMT, two people telephoned me on the same day … quite unknown to each other … asking for attunement to Mastership. Well, they were unknown to each other until they both came to be attuned by me, and on the same day … which was an unforgettable experience for us all, and rapidly dispelled any initial doubts I might have had about "jumping in at the deep end". It just felt right ... and I do recall my own RMT being thoroughly supportive in every respect.

So … bottom line … go for it … when YOU feel ready:)

Thanks all,
I have to agree I err on the side of whats for you will be presented or sent to you, I've found since I did my 1st attunement that things have just turned up out of the blue.
As my good scottish friend always says "whats for ye wont go past ye"

I completely agree, I like to let fate unfold things if you see what I mean -when it takes over you know you are doing the right thing.
