Hi,

Does this lady treat both your legs as well as your feet? It could be that you have an energy blockage in this area, which is why the energy has difficulty getting to the feet. This is just one possible explanation, have you always had cold feet, and do you get cold hands also?

What is the overal temperature in the room where you are treated like? Sometimes, people receiving a Reiki treatment feel great warmth and comfort as each area is treated, however, this often makes other parts of the body feel colder than usual?

Is it also just the soles of your feet that are cold or is it your ankles also?

Thanks for your thoughts. I've had cold feet all my life and I just put it down to poor circulation. My hands are always warm! My overall body temperature does strange things too; I can be warm and then suddenly I'm freezing. Perhaps I'm just odd?!;)
I'm doing Reiki 1 next month, so maybe I'll understand a bit more then.

When I treat people I always ask if their feet are warm as the room I work out of is quite cold as I am above a sauna and have to have the air con on a lot. If they have cold feet I put a blanket or towel over them and then treat through the towel, as reiki goes through whatever you have on.

At least this way your feet can be warm(er) and more comfortable, plus you have to option to have the towel / blanket removed if you get too hot.

Just to hijack this older thread.. did a treatment recently on a chap who doesn't have any problems with his general circulation and no contraindications which might suggest a problem, but his right foot was freezing cold and his left boiling hot. I've been treating him for a while and not noticed this before, and in his treatments since I've not picked this up. Anyone have any ideas?

Mmmm, Just my opinion of course, the feet are within the 'base chakra' and the right side of the body is the 'female' connection (the side he is cold on) the feet make the connection to Mother Earth...perhaps he is 'pulling away' from a problem that has arisen with a female somewhere in his life and it needs to be sorted out...also check out the base chakra.

When I see him next I'll see what I can find out. If I fix it do you think he'll have this sudden urge to propose to his gf? (I can live in hope eh?)
