I've downloaded the manuals from the Chios website to have a look at. At first glance it seems a very comprehensive system, although I'm not sure what makes it profoundly different from other systems, apart from it focusing a lot on the aura and chakras.

I see from the Master/Teacher list on the website that our very own Paul Crick and Dez Sellars are listed there. I'm not sure of any other HP members that do Chios and I can't find any previous threads about it.

Thanks for digging around a little for me!;)I have found it to be extremely comprehensive and have things come up during treatments that I hadn't expected- for example today I had a 'patient's' past life come up.Colours, sounds, visions... it's lovely. We work a lot with the aura and chakras, which I suppose is where it differs to Reiki from what I remember. (I did 1st level Usui Reiki some 8 years ago) The manuals are freely available, one has to study through a Master teacherthough to get attunements.

I hope to find others out there!!

Yes Chios EFH is a very comprehensive modality, it does take quite a lot of time and effort to learn and master it which could put a lot of people off, but well worth the effort 🙂

When you say EFH, is that Energy Field Healing?, the same as the [link= http://www.energyfieldhealing.com/ ]http://www.energyfieldhealing.com/[/link]

I saw a demonstration of Energy Field Healing a couple of months back and whilst reading the Chios website I thought it sounded very similar to that technique, although the EFH practitioner was telling us how the courses were quite strict in how you had to practice and it took about a year to get qualified.

There are a couple of different energy field healing modalities around, Chios EFHtakes quite a while to work through the course, evenif someone chooseshands on tuition, it will still take them some time to complete the course and become competent at it.

I love Chios- there is so much to learn, and it's an ongoing process. It is much more involved and indepth than I'd originally thought- but as you say Paul ,most definately worth the effort!!! The 'boundries ' are a bit fuzzy as to the time one needs to practice before being able to officially say you're a competent practitioner. I suppose it's a matter of being honest with yourself as to what you can do, mastering the techniques and then practice, practice, practice!!

There seem to be very few people that practice it though, which is a bit frustrating as it's always nice to chat to others and compare notes. The offical website's forum has been down for ages -Steve mentioned that he was having problems with the server, or something.:eek:

I have a few Reiki modalities under my belt, but I don't use a lot of them as they just don't site right with me.

What level are you at with the Chios EFH?

To be a competent CHIOS EFH practitioner requires you to be able to put togethera treatment out of the many techniques that is right for the individuals requirement, this will change from treatment to treatment as the changes take place in the energy field, once you have that sorted then you are a Chios EFH master, simple really when you think about it 🙂

Yes the third level takes some time to work through and master the techniques, practice makes perfect, the more you do it, the easier it becomes 🙂

Hi Paul-
I have found that I have 'visions' during treatments- it's become quite the norm now. Have you found this at all? Whilst using Reiki I've never had this. I've also recently become more aware of the auric layers and have been quite amazed by the results of healing on this level.

Finished Level 3!! Waiting to be certified and listed on the Chios site :DHooray!! Besides the treatments I'd very much like to start teaching too. (I love teaching- I'm an EFL teacher here in Spain)

Just as it takes time to learn to practice Chios EFH it also takes time to learn to teach it, but you have to start sometime, so just go steady with each level as you teach it and it will all come together nicely 🙂

Wonderful topic!

I've been working with Chios energy field healing for a while and LOVE it - it has definately added a whole new way of experiencing energy healing for me.

... Great advice and thoughts here.
