Hi, I am trying to trace the Reiki lineage of two masters for one of my students and I am hoping that someone on here maybe able to give them to me.
The first is Clare Wilde who I believe is still in Esssex and teaches/taught people who are interested in animals.I tried contacting her via her publisher and they passed on a letter but got no reply.
The other is a teacher in Sway, Hampshire (or was about 6 years ago) called Kathy Searle.
Neither of these Masters (rightly or wrongly) gave lineage at attunement.
I'dbe very grateful for any help anyone can give.

I've had a quick look around on the web and although I can find many references to Clare's books I can't find anything about her as a Reiki Master/Teacher, her courses or what her lineage would be. As for Kathy I just can't find anything.
Maybe someone out here will know how to contact them or have the details you require.

Thanks for looking Giles. I've spent hours following up various leads but got nowhere so fingers crossed.
I am considering trying the lineage tracing service the Reiki Assoc. run but I'm not sure that they wouldn't just do exactly what I have already done unless they have their details on file from someone elses search.Still, best not to be too defeatist !

Hi Pauhla,
From what I understand, if the Reiki Association don't have it, it probably isn't around. It must be very frustrating having to be re-attuned because your RM isn't around anymore.

Well, I meditated on the whole thing and stewed for a while and eventually I decided to abandon that particular tack as the publishers promised me they had forwarded my letter and as there was no reply, even though I had made it easy with an S.A.E. it seemed that she didn't want to make contact.Ok, shame, sad, not supportive but obviously not meant to be either.
SO, I thought, what next? Well, the Reiki Fed said that lineage can be via any teacher in a persons reiki historyand as the result of a lot of amateur sleuthing, I managed to find the teacher of my 2nd degree Master. I left a message on her phone a couple of days ago and havn't heard back but she may be away so after Googling her details, I found a website with her lineage on. I'm happy to use this as my 2nd Degree teacher was attuned toMaster level by the teacher I have been looking for so it sort of closes the loop in a way.
