RE: Aura Colours
the colours surrounding our body (the auric layers) generally are of a wishy-washy colour so silvery grey is common.
RE: Aura Colours
Peter,
A very good book that I use (straight and to the point with no airy fairy stuff) is one that I have mentioned on other threads regarding Aura's. It's called "Kundalini and the Chakras" by Genevieve Lewis Paulson.

RE: Aura Colours
HI Peter
I was waiting to give someone else a chance to post.
But hope this means something to you.
White/Silver
On the spiritual level, white can indicate that you have a high energy level, which is directly linked with both light and enlightenment. It symbolises the good, the perfection and the godly eternity. White in the aura therefore is always a sign of high-energy. Strong Silver within thewhite can mean that there is a very strong ascended master present and the silver is indicating the individuals connection with that higher guidance.
When reading the aura on the personal level this influence shows itself by the need of emptiness and width and by your need to free yourself from obstacles and leave all possibilities open for yourself. In certain situations of life it can be a sign that you want to start over again.
But on the negative side your need of freedom can lead to flight. This can arise by blocking situations in your life from which you are trying to free yourself. Silvery white can mean that the person has not the courage to confront their own feelings and does not cover up mistakes because it fantasies.
Whilst most core colours are very strong they can sometimes appear to be dual aspect or wishy-washy.
In my experience most dual aspect colours will contain a core colour and a secondary colour, the strength of each colour will reflect on the meaning at that time.
Of course if the core colour is mixed with another core colour this could mean that there is a bleed or tear within the aura.
If there is only one colour present and that appears to be wishy-washy then my experience has told me that this would mean that the definition of the aura colour would be weaker for positive results and stronger for negative results.
Obviously the colour at anyone time could be bought on by many circumstances relevant at that moment in time but that could change in an instant.
For example if you go to a fair and have your aura picture done (If you want to or can afford it). Having looked at it and read and digested what they have told you it all means, have another one done and you will notice a difference.
I'm sure I've read somewhere that if you see an aural that's all one colour and all silvery white it means you just aren't sensitive enough to actually seeh the colours that are definitely there in your aura...:)
