A client of mine regularly shows yellow/orange feet in colour on her soles. Although they drink plenty of water, they do suffer from piles and bad ear infection.

Does she eat a lot of orange or red fruits? My son has yellow soles of the feet and palms of the hands. Turns out (since he has OCD) that his recent obssession with oranges has given him a beta carotene overdose (enough to alter his eyesight too). Also, if she drinks squashes or eats or drinks anything containing beta carotene, the type used in foods tends to be artificial and in very high concentrations, which could also contribute to this.

is the yellow areas on the pads of the feet? below the toes and the heel?
and does the client always have cold toes?
the yellow colour indicates bad blood circulation. many clients have cold hands or feet and the feet would show up a yellow colour.
the client would need to have massage regularly to help the blood around her feet. this is common in many people and it isnt serious. you just need to help it along a bit.

hi thanks for replying, but she doesnt eat any of the foods you mention in excess, her circulation is poor as she mostly feels cold, her feet are cold at times, but she is going thro a divorce and not sleeping well .. but her feet are more yellow around the lung area and on the heel area, her lumber area is painful and tender as she suffers from piles.
How about her liver - yellow colouring can indicate an increase of bilirubin in the bloodstream.

Hi there, for me the colouring of the feet reflect the emotions of the client. Yellow soles can indicate resentment could this tie in with the end of the marriage/divorce?
Out of interest does she have piles due to diarrhoea or straining from constipation? If the latter there is probably a general build up of toxins.
Re the lung area - do you do chakra work and is her throat/thymus out of balance (possibly indicated by the ear infection) as well as her solar plexus? I am assuming this latter is not optimised at the moment due to the digestive symptoms and the emotional situation she is in.
Stress can affect breathing which could be indicated by tenderness in the lung reflex and this can be exacerbated by raised caffeine intake (although she may not be a tea/coffee drinker/chocolate eater) which will also put strain on her pancreas and affect her colon.
