RE: Reflexology in Lincoln?

Hi Jan,
I think I may have posted to you before?? maybe not?
I'm in Grantham, not a million miles away....However there is a mind, body, spirit fair at Lincoln show ground on the 24th & 25th April, you may find a therapist there??Is it for yourself or someone you know? ( as I see you're a reflexologist yourself)
I know that a few of us from the area are doing the show, just not sure of anyone from Lincoln itself.
Have you tried the AOR site for a therapist in the area ?

Love,light and always healing,
Lisa x

RE: Reflexology in Lincoln?

Hi Jan,

Please e mail or PM me if you need to contact me for any reason.

I operate in Lincoln itself, Horncastle and in between the two, (I have my own Clinic at Horncastle and rooms in Lincoln). I would be only too happy to help.

I am possibly visiting the Lincoln Showground at the end of April but I can never seem to get a weekend free to hold a stall in these shows. I am always lecturing, holding workshops or in one of my Clinics. 😉

I like to call myself a CLINICAL Reflexologist, and include diet and lifestyle within my treatments. Have a visit on my website.

love

Gillyxxx

Look forward to hearing from you.

Gilly,
I do hope you make it to the Lincoln show, it would be great to meet you!
I know what you mean about being busy, busy, busy! I try to book out the shows well in advance so I'm not tempted to do anything else!
The BSSK shows are really good, well advertised and great people running the event. Its also really great to meet other therapists in the area whilst meeting so many new potential clients!
If you do get to go, do drop by and say hello!

RE: Reflexology in Lincoln?

Hi Gilly and Lisa,
I am moving to Nocton at the end of the year, in Lincoln. I am a qualified nurse and midwife but need a career change. I have been to the AOR website and they recomend a reflexology course in Lincoln at the college in Monks road. Do you know anything about this course at all? It is 2 years part time and is in holitic medicine. Any information would be appreciated or if you know of any other courses in the area.
Thanks for your time,
Sam XX

RE: Reflexology in Lincoln?

Hi Sam!
I can't really help you with reagrds to the course in Lincoln, I did my course in Grantham, (AoR) at the Grantham college.
There's tons of debate about which course and which qualification to do, Its down your individual choice really and who the tutor is in most cases I believe. I know the current tutor at Grantham college actually comes from Lincoln.( I had a different tutor)I was very happy with the AoR course myself, although I did have a change of Tutor half way through.
Hopefully Gilly will have local knowledge and be able to advise you better than I can!
Where are you moving from by the way?

RE: Reflexology in Lincoln?

Hi Lisa and Gilly,
thanks for your replies, I look forward to hearing from Gilly this week. I am moving up from wittering near Stamford, not too far away. I got news back from Lincoln college to say that the holistic course is not running this year!
They do a certificate level in reflexology though. What qualification does Grantham do? I am waiting to hear from them. I really need pointing in the right direction, I want it to be a career that may or may not tie in with the midwifery. some of the courses are one day a month so I suppose I could travel to london etc on a monthly basis.
what qualifications do you have and have you found it successful setting up practice.Do any of you need any hard working trainees!!!!!! I have just found a great course in Nottingham 2 days a month for 1 year.
thank you both for your time.
Love Sam X

RE: Reflexology in Lincoln?

Hi Jan ,

only just spotted this !

I am a Reflexologist, qualified with the International Federation of Reflexologists , and am now in my 9th year of practice.

I am to be found in Nettleham, just north of Lincoln.

I also use massage and acupressure, and spiritual counselling if needed, for my clients.

I have a peaceful therapy room overlooking my garden.

I hope your daughter finds the treatment and therapist that suits her well.

Love Ruth xx
