Hiya Jess,

Most likely because the pancreas is part ofthe endocrine system (the hormone insulin is secreted from the pancreas), and the pituitary gland is the "master" endocrine gland in the body.

Clever meridianmoon has pipped me to the post - just what I was going to say. I had a client when I started out who was Type II diabetic and she was also a really stressed lady, so super plus sensitive pituitary point at virtually every treatment. Balance that naughty old endocrine system!
