I am thinking about buying one of these pedestal does anyone recommend them or can anyone enlighten me with their expereiences. Is it portable enough to carry around on public transport if necessary .
RE: darley Pedestals
Do you mean the Pedi-stool, for usewith reflexology or pedicures etc? If so, yes they are quite light and very portable.
RE: darley Pedestals
Thanks, I wasn't sure I was spelling it right. Is Darley the name of the company that supplies them or can be brought from other suppliers
RE: darley Pedestals
I've heard that they are good and I'd like to get one this month as I am doing quite a lot of reflexology on family and friends while I am training and its my favourite therapy too so it would be worth the investment. Does anyone know where to get them?

RE: darley Pedestals
If you do a google search for darley you will find their website and if you are a student there is a discounted package which include the pedi-stool and cover, carrycase and postage and delivery. and is generally a good deal.
RE: darley Pedestals
They are very handy to have, though my Lafuma wins hands down in a contest between the two! This is probably because I'm tall and find the therapist stool bit of the Pedistool rather high. I like to work with the feet roughly at solar plexus height. I use the Pedistool only with pregnant clients to save my back. If anyone wants to have a go on a Pedistool (or indeed a Lafuma) and is happy to travel to my house, just PM me. It's nice to try these things out, I think.
