I realised the other day that I hadn't had any referrals via the AoR for some time, so decided to check the members list. Not there!! Very depleted list too.
So phoned them up and they had no record of receiving my subs (October renewal).
They give you 3 months grace apparently and then you're off.
Anyway, I had paid, as they had advised, by on-line transfer with the reference and everything. They had no record of it and would have to refer it to their accounts department (imagine how long that would take.)
Luckily I found it on my online statement and faxed it to them immediately, so hopefully back on there soon, having missed a couple of months referrals.
Has anyone else had this happen.

That's bad luck Jan. I must say I go in every once in a while to make sure I haven't dropped off there. I think they get overwhelmed on the admin side sometimes. You have reminded me that I asked them to put reiki on my insurance and haven't had a new certificate back yet, so I've just emailed a little chase to them! Thanks for that. By the way, have you had quite a lot of referrals from the AOR website? Maybe I'm being impatient, but I qualified in January and I haven't had a single referral yet boo hiss.

I havent had many, about 1 a month, but there were approx twice as many members listed for my area before, now there are only 3, probably due to the admin problem. So I may get more. I thought it would be better than it was for referrals because it comes up top of the list on a web search.
The YP is by far the best source.
I'm just redoing a double sided flyer (3 to a A4 sheet) and will PM you soon.
