ring the surgery and ask the receptionist for the name of the practice manager, or head doctor if it doesn't have a manager, enclose a leaflet of who you are what you do etc, and ask if they would mind you putting a notice on their board? You could also ask if they might have a room that you could rent occasionally. Never know till you ask. 😉

I tried this but my local GP wanted me to book time before I was allowed to advertise.

It depends on the surgery or health board/trust.

Most will not allow commercial business to promote themselves in their premises as they cannot be seen to endorse this.

I was also told that if "something went wrong" and the client sues, then they can be held responsiblealso as they have been seen to be recommending you.

Hi there

I've given this a go and my surgery did take some of my leaflets for the doctors, but nothing has ever come of it. However, there is a midwife at our local surgery who is very interested in comp therapies and she has certainly sent people my way.
