I know we've had discussions about juicers quite a long time ago. I have a juicer which is the cheapest one Jason Vale recommends, and I'm starting to find that it's leaky and bunged up with bits of food in places I can't get to in order to clean it. I also find it a bit fiddly to clean. So, I'm thinking of going for something slightly superior. It may encourage me to juice more frequently, as I sometimes just can't be bothered at the thought of all the mess. I would like to know what juicers others use and how they rate them in terms of ease in cleaning etc. FYI I mainly juice veggies eg beetroot, carrots, cucumber and celery.
RE: Which juicer?
Hi Siobhan,
I've got a Breville one - it's the one with the large chute so that you can in theory put down whole apples without having to chop them first.
It's good and not too hard to clean. Also, if you've got a dishwasher you can put all but 3 of the pieces in there for cleaning.
I've found though that it's now started to leak a bit of juice as I'm juicing, which as you can imagine, is not too brilliant! Admittedly, it's only started happening since I dropped it on the floor and weakened one of the plastic bits! The warranty only lasts for a year as well.

RE: Which juicer?
I hear Gary Null has one that does wheat grass too.
