RE: too acidic body
This is quite scarey Penelope, I hope she's taking multi-vitamins every day because she will not be getting all the minerals and vitamins she needs.
Is there absoloutely nothing she likes? At the end of the day sometimes we have to make sacrifices, to give up things we like when we know they are not good for us, likewise, perhaps she needs to start having small amounts, with practice she will learn to like some vegetables. As a mother I would also have been concerned if my child refused to eat any vegetables.
How about soups, she could make some vegetable soups, and liquidise the mixture, put herbs and spices to hide the taste and make it more palatable.
I can't eat bread and I'm gutted, I love my bread, I have found some substitutes which to begin with were disgusting, now they're not so bad, so you do get used to different flavours.
Sometimes the softly softly approach doesn't work and you need to be firmer, just an idea.

thank you Rosie.
She was forced to eat all her food as a child, stayed at the table until the plate was empty or else she got it on her head, or on the floor..........She is an intelligent woman, and she has knowledge about what a balanced diet is. Just cant stand veggies. I guess the pay off of not eating them is greater than the detrimental health effects.
I shall have to do some plain speaking - see what I can find on the net re overacidic bodies and the health issues

RE: too acidic body
Hi Penelope, Has your client opened up to you about her feelings on being treated that way by her parents if she didn't eat her vegetables? I believe this is an emotional issue which is why she is reluctant to eat vegetables, and if she can remove the pain of her experience and forgive those responsible, she may be able to eat some vegetables.
Perhaps you can ask her some questions about how did your parents behaviour make you feel? Did you feel abused when this was happening? If you can get her to open up and to release the emotions it may help.

Hi Penelope,
Maybe try and make her taste vegatbel properly prepared?
I had a friend who hated cucumber. That is because the only way he had ever tasted it was... boiled! I used to hate vegetable soup as a child and kept the belief that it was horrendous until a friend pepared a good one for me. My mother used to boil th eveg. in water, no salt or any herbs, and then she would belnd the lot. It gave a watery tasteless something!
