I have recently begun juicing, and my energy level is through the roof. Unfortunately, I find myself wide awake at night, sleeping 5 or 6 hours (when I used to sleep 8). Oddly, I have little or no fatique the next day. Is this common? Is there any literature out there about this?

RE: Question about juicing and fatique

Hi, I know Dr Sandra Cabot(author of a brilliant detox diet book also) has written a book called juicing for health and when I wrote to her office with some queries about the detox I received a really helpful reply. I can find the address for you if you like, let me know

RE: Question about juicing and fatique

I can find nothing that indicates a connection between juicing and not being able to sleep. I guess it doesn't really make sense anyway. As to what I am juicing, pretty much the normal stuff: kale, spinach, broccoli, carrots, apples, etc. Plus I try to consume as many berries, bananas, and oranges as possible. I have just never had a problem sleeping before I started with the juicer, so I assumed there was a connection.
