Hi. Im starting out in learning complementary therapies. I feel drawn to cyrstal healing. I use crystals at home and myself, my family and friends have really benefited by using them. So my heart says do a crystal healing course. My only doubt is that I would have thought it real hard to get clients as most people would go out and buy some crystals and a book. Whilst I would love to do the course I do need something that I could at least obtain a part time income form. I know that with any comp. therapies it takes a lot of work to get a clients and I am prepared to do this hard work - but am worried that despite this, there will be no demand for my service.

I can see that people are more likely to be interested in having an indian head massage or massage and am thinking that maybe I should do courses in them instead.

Im really confused and keep changing from wanting to do one thing then another!! Some clarification on the prospects of becoming a crystal healer from those who practice this would be very welcome. Incidentally Im based in Devon.

Many thanks.

Hi Jazz

Incidentally Im based in Devon

Strange that you should have put that at the end of your posting...as I was just sitting here thinking 'well alot of it will depend on where you live'

I have been a Crystal therapist for a few years and have to say that I certainly don't make a living out of it...but then I admit to never having really pushed it.
Reading the above ... my thoughts would be that perhaps you could incorporate crystals into another therapy...much like I do...but until you have a certificate to say that you have done a crystal course, you would not be able to call yourself a Crystal Therapist/Healer.

Yes, people do go out and buy both crystals and books ~ nothing wrong with that...but very few of them actually understand what they are doing or why certain issues arise...using crystals as a profession is alot more than that and goes much much deeper...certainly not a subject to be taken lightly.
There are many evening classes out there to help people understand about crystals and maybe, should you decide to study a different therapy then an evening class may be the answer.
Hope that helps in some way

Many blessings
