Was thinking about this just before I drifted off into the land of Nod.

I can fall asleep in minutes and don't usually have problems with my sleep. I do however dream pretty much every night ( I keep a dream diary too). I do worry that I am over tired when I awake but do love dreaming.

Which Crystals do you all pop under your pillow or on your bedside table please? Was just curious as to what you prefer and it doesn't have to specifically be for deep healing sleep.

Yeah just nosy lol

Hi,
I use a variety of crystals depending on the need of the individual.
Rose quartz for those whose mind is keeping them awake.
Apache tears for those who fly at night.
Clear quartz for peaceful nights sleep.
Red jasper for grounding gently.
Moldavite for visions.
Tourmaline for protection.

Basically if a crystal is right for someone during waking hours I find they can sleep with it too.

Kind regards,
Christina

Thanks for your reply....I sleep with Black tourmaline at all 4 corners of my bed for protection. It works for me.

Hmmmm Moldavite seems interesting though might try that during the day first in case it is a little strong for me.

Selenite is quite new to me but have plenty of Fluorite.

How are your dreams with these crystals?

I sleep pretty well and dreams tend to be calm - or exploratory - but seldom remember them. Sometimes I am aware I am dreaming.

Selenite gives me the most wonderful feeling - almost magical. I remember seeing a programme about archeological explorations of prehistoric excavations where they were puzzled why the inhabitants should chip out seams of selenite - they obviously didn't hold it in their hands, or they'd have realised it has shamanic properties! I need to have more time to meditate with it - it can take you on journeys, like time-travelling, but need plenty of time to explore! There is more info about it

(Don't wash or soak it though, as it dissolves and the liquid will contain too much selenium for any elixir use, so it needs other forms of cleansing.)

Hope that helps

"Katrina talks about the importance of recognizing that you have a soul star and an earth star in your ethereal body. She relates them to being chakras, the earth star located 12 inches below your feet and the soul star being 12 inches above you head. She says that we need to align these chakras and connect with earth firmly before working with Selenite as this crystal will energize the soul star above the head. She warns us that to activate the soul star before activating the earth star can cause terrible imbalance. She says that once we plant our feet firmly on the ground and create that foundation then we can bear the transmittal of light that Selenite brings us from the Source through the Soul star."

Think I need to read up a little more on the Earth and Soul Stars as its all a little new to me.

I was once advised to place a piece of Rose Quartz under the armchair of a potential house buyer who was to be invited to sit there. Whether or not the crystal had anything to do with it, I don't know, but she bought the house!

A new piece of Jade went under my pillow some time later, by which time I had moved to my new abode, but resulting in several nights of poor sleep. I decided it wasn't for me, and some friends were due to visit for tea. The husband turned up in a beautiful silk shirt of .... the identical shade of jade green .... so I knew it was meant for him, and made a gift of it to him. The only feedback I got was good 🙂

I love amethyst as a sleep crystal giving protection during the night and enhancing pleasant dreams. It is also good for insomnia

I used to put a piece of lepidolite under my pillow and I had some really lovely dreams which I could recall easily. I've also used amethyst and Preseli Bluestone in the past with interesting results in terms of dreaming.

Jade is excellent both for interpreting your dreams and for developing lucid dreaming. Jade brings out innate healing qualities and unites lovers at every level.

I have been told that majority of purple stones are great for under our pillows. Amethyst is a beautiful colour.

I have to write my dreams down as soon as I wake up. Interesting reading my dream diary every so often as some of them I can not recall.

Had quite a few nightmares where it felt very real last year so hoping they don't start again. Involved spirits and not those of a liquid form 😀

I always have a piece of clear quartz - it protects against getting colds

I have whatever crystals I need depending on what healing work I am doing or working on.

Black lava rock I've had most recently and a shell.

I once got told to avoid clear crystals though if it works for you then keep with it. Lol what do I know

Iron pyrite is a big no no as I recall though I never did ask why.

Just treated myself to a beautiful Clear Quartz cluster - so sparkly and mesmerising 🙂

I think that we will always be told do this and don't do that, but I prefer to go with my intuition when working with crystals. We should go with what we feel. 🙂

Yeah I agree totally though I do tend to double check occasionally by dowsing. The crystal we want is not always the one we need at the time.
