Hi everyone.

I was wondering if contemporary acupuncture-anatomy books use standard colors to represent individual meridians?

Thanks

As far as I know, colours are not standardised when presenting this information. Some texts may use the colours associated with the organ function (in Chinese medicine terms) eg white for Lungs, green for Liver and so on, but this would be impractical as the channels are paired systems, and colour coding would only work in certain cases.

The most commonly used training text in the UK uses monochrome images.

My instinct would be to colour each channel according to it's Element correspondence.

Hi Nick - you may not get feedback on some of the threads you have highlighted - some haven't been active in years.

Thanks Jabba, that's understood. Maybe some interesting topics can be revived.
